  1. For other ideas, pictures and videos go to www.illinanpullers.com. They are the "local" sanctioning body.
  2. Not sure on the 64 or 65 badging. Don't remember. Not sure where the wheels came from either. Its been a while since I built it. I know they're not aftermarket, just not sure what kit I robbed them from. I'm thinking it was a Camaro.
  3. 28th George. I'll bring it to Rantoul.
  4. Yes they are Brian. The axles I used are from an AMT monster truck. I narrowed them up some and used metal axles through them. I epoxied the hubs from the monster truck kit into the back of the tires. Worked out just fine. Now, I need to find a few more of those axles and hubs....
  5. Thanks Shane. I built this many years ago when the kit first came out.
  6. Here's my only pulling truck so far. I have another in the works. Grabbing up parts.
  7. My Revving Red, White Lightning 55 Chevy. Revell kit straight out of the box.
  8. Here is my Revell 56 Chevy DelRay. Straight out of the box. Testors Flaming Orange and Blazing Black.
  9. This is my way of building a Scout. AMT 66 Nova ProStreet chassis (slightly shortened), engine, interior. Paint is pearl white, metallic black and some stripes.
  10. Anybody else having problems uploading to Photobucket today? Everything I try says upload error. Something about sizing? I have no idea what's up. I'm using the same camera, distance, etc.
  11. Jim, look under MODEL SUPPLIES and then under pattern sheets.
  12. Thanks Slusher. It's Model Master 28111 Dark Bronze Metallic.
  13. Lindberg 64 Dodge 330. (Color Me Gone kit.)
  14. Thanks Rich and everyone else for your info and comments.
  15. Rich, the front end is modeled after an older IH "D" model pickup. If you google "Dmax" I think it will come up and show the article. I work for a local dealer and had access to the early photos and the story behind the DMax. Many people say it looks like an older Pierce Arrow.
  16. Thanks Mike. Jim, I used electric wire I had from something I stripped. They look good in that position, but not when hooked up to the trailer. The insulation and wire are too stiff to give you that "saggy" look. Unfortunately, I epoxied them into holes under the cab and can't get to them to change them. I've found some 22ga railroad wire that works much better. I'll usr it on the next one I'm working on now.
  17. Thanks everybody. No Jim, I haven't tried there yet. I think ribbon would work, its just finding the right stuff and somehow making the flat hooks.
  18. The chassis was stretched Jim. I cut it right behind the rear sleeper mounts and added the rails from a spare chassis that I cut at the front of the front mounts. I'm still looking for the "right" material to use for straps. I know what I want, just can't find it yet. Thanks for the comments.
  19. Here are a couple more of the LoneStar. Colors are Duplicolor Santa Fe Tan (BGM0545) and Testors Fiery Orange (1831M).
  20. Here is my RoG KW W900 with the grain trailer and the spread axle flatbed. Let me know what you think. Yes, I know the air and electrical are in the wrong place. I didn't bother to hook them up to the trailers for pictures.
  21. Just updated some photos into the post. Tell me your thoughts. Thanks in advance!
