Seems like the F12 always had brown interiors, from the sources I can find, so brown it is. And yes, I am going to clean them up, since the seat bottoms aren't the most visible it felt easier to paint them on the sprue and touch them up later.

I started building the engine already during the spring. Since it seems like they were painted with most of the stuff assembled, there is not much detailing to do, everything should be green.

The frame was also assembled and painted during this spring. Red to match the striping on the cab.

  2. Wow, I love it! This generation Celica is probably the best looking japanese car ever and putting that Celsior stuff underneath makes it a beast. Not the easiest to pull off but you managed to do it very well.

  3. I am a Mercedes enthusiast and the 300SL is my dream car above everything else, but the nice thing about models is that you can do whatever you want even to valuable and rare cars. ;) I see nothing wrong with it, it is a great build.

Very nice! Had a dull red one in college, great reliable transportation. Always wanted to replicate it with that kit, but I wasn't sure what to do about the bumpers. Did you scratch build yours or are they aftermarket. Now I'm motivated to start mine. Absolutely spot on build!

The old tool Revell VW Convertible has the right bumpers.
