  1. Some kits in the past did have informative side panels. Is this more in line of what you are thinking ?
  2. Having the silhouette outline of parts on the bottom seems to be the best answer.
  3. No more a tangent than potatoes, songs about Winslow AZ or the virtues of the wheels on one Flatbed Ford truck , Ooops, i mean stakebed, nor the insistence that one justifies an idea that garners an interest in a rather unusual car that several members have nostalgic stories to share, and resin kits, not to mention a somewhat strange connection to Carroll Shelby's iconic Cobra.
  4. My post of the Crosley radios was in response to the potato.
  5. So it seems to me , what you're after is a "Kit Review" ?
  6. Only when you ask the same of all these dreamers http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/128152-what-would-you-like-to-see-as-a-model/
  7. That was my first thought
  8. "What's up with all the info about the packaging. The box is used as a 'paint booth' or flattened out to work on kit on." What am I missing here ?
  9. These books have been out for some time. I find it interesting their prices haven't dropped off like other books do through time.
  10. I thought there was a Hot Wheels version as well.
  11. Tell that to the lawyers and by the way Art, very nice paraphrasing of the article i posted.
  12. Same as their AG '55. and yes wouldn't a 2LBT be great.
  13. Yes indeed, in so many ways.
  14. While all these disparaging words are bandied about these came to mind
  15. Thank you for sharing that.
  16. Thanks Gerald, bet there's more out there
  17. Couple of great examples Dave.
  18. My primary reason for posting this was all the interesting things he's done regardless of the fact that they are not "finished" . There are a bunch of neat things here one may incorporate into ones own models. and besides, that first picture I posted with all the cars upside down really caught my eye. Fun to see what he's done and try to identify some of the parts and kits they came from, much less what he was trying to accomplish.
  19. I often look for models to build that have little or no chrome. Hot rods and race cars are great for this.
  20. The BADMAN kit was based on Monograms original 1955 Chevrolet Customizing kit. Thus the weird issues Rob Mattis listed above.
  21. An interesting view http://lunaciumspeed.com/index.php/2016/09/12/set-your-creativity-free-with-funny-car-folk-art-where-less-is-more/
  22. Looks like it's catching http://scaledworld.net/gasser-cop-car
