  2. If we could only get this worked up about something serious
  3. So what's the point here ? Seems to be a lot of confusion about many things all over the place.
  4. "It contains the same incorrect Sedan Delivery body as all the other Sedan Delivery issues" What;s incorrect ?
  5. another version in 1/25th scale. the car it was based on
  6. Just a few at the end, first page shows up for me
  7. A lot of emotion here
  8. Pretty much how the board works. A little time, a quick look at general and on to something else, work, chores, life. Still a far cry of the hodge podge all or nothing on other boards.
  9. All contests may not have the same interpretation but they do normally have some clarification in their rules and class descriptions.
  10. Many still do, Andy's Hobby Headquarters in Glendale AZ and the ACE Hardware in Tucson are great examples. Great stock and people that know and care.
  11. Seems like the moderator has a little too much time on his hands. I agree with Dennis the OP.
  12. The other point, what other gems are hidden in this pile? I know the aircraft builders would be all over this Allison kit, not to mention the clamoring for the old MOPAR.
  13. The point. or more accurate the question I have presented here. isn't the total number of kits from any one mold. but the fact that maybe the first run. or any run can produce 50,000 kits', Imagine the effort and time to open and close just that one mold 50,000 times. How many people would be working on this type of project? How long would it take to crank out 50,000 kits ?
  14. From Casey's last page post http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/109103-what-amtmpc-molds-might-still-exist-at-round-2/?page=9
  15. Nothing of note here, just molds for kit numbers H-1551 and H-1251: and how many others ?
  16. From what I understand hot plastic injected into two mold halves put together and out comes the kit. And this is done over and over 50,000 + times ? Here's a picture of some molds from Casey on another thread
  17. Moving vans, shumoving vans. These Revel molds are where the story is. This is gold.
  18. The lower junior classes are where we have the most trouble. Models obviously NOT solely built by the five year old entrant, I've seen this too many times.
  19. It's all perception, what the eye sees. Unless it's box stock anything goes with a few exceptions I.E. pre painted bodies. And again it's up to those that set up the contest as to the rules they will follow. Mad Mike's http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/129752-124-ford-gt40-mk1-engine-3d-printed-by-myself/ engine is quite impressive to say the least, but as Ace pointed out, it all depends what one will do with it.
  20. But it ain't no turtle deck

  22. Lot's of ways to tackle this. Here are just a few http://www.themotormuseuminminiature.co.uk/re-spoking-wire-wheels.php http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/6659-scale-wire-wheels/ https://hobbylink.tv/uc-realistic-wire-wheels
  23. We are ?
  24. Kind of reminds me of my friend putting gas in his immaculate V-8 Vega. Guy walks over and compliments him, upon leaving comments, " Wish I could afford something like that." as he gets into his new $40,00.00 SUV.
