'58- '65 Chevy "X" Frame headers
Greg Myers replied to Greg Myers's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Really only interested in the early years 1958 - 1964. I had a 1:1 '60 El Camino with the dark headers on the bottom of the first picture. They turned out right into some big side pipes. -

'58- '65 Chevy "X" Frame headers
Greg Myers replied to Greg Myers's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Beautiful, Bob, what's your secret ? -
Do any of the '58- '65 Chevy "X" frame kits have these frame correct headers ? They turn out following the frame to meet the stock exhaust system.

Interesting how many automotive engines from the sixties era were basically the same on the outside with varying cubic inch displacements on the inside. Of course there were other identifying factors , I.E. dip stick placement on the 409 vs 348. Small block Chevy 265-400 Buick Nailhead -401 Big Block Chevy 396 - 454 Pontiac 326 - 455 Ok . I don't have all the cubic inch displacements down, but you can see what I'm getting at.
