This is an old Lindberg Ford that I couldn't decide how I wanted to build so I sent it to the graveyard. I suspect it was an old moonshine runner back in the day. The only thing it's loaded with now is bees.

This is an old Mack I got out of a box of junk models and restored it and added a scratch built log bed and details. This is how we log down south. -

I'll try to take more pics soon. Here's another pic I had on my tablet. Same truck but different excavator. And here's a closer pic of the first excavator. -
58 Impala with a full late model cage. I left the doors so they could be opened to better view the interior detail. There was a lot of cutting and fitting on this one.

I love those tires! This is one of the best yet. -
Since the Great Locomotive Chase was filmed in my home town I decided to build a General diorama. Kit is from AMT. Track is hand laid with real wood cross ties. Wagon is scratch built as well. Tommy

This is a 1/16 Bulldog I built to commemorate the brave men of Charlie company 196th LIB who fought in Twister Charlie Feb 1968 in the Heip Duc valley. I usually display the tank with an original issue 1968 helmet I have. You can read an excellent book on this battle called "Through The Valley" by James Humphies. Tommy

This is what I ended up with when I cut a display board and just dove into my parts boxes and let the creative juices flow. The bass boat may be sold. Looks like they may be working up a deal as we speak. Tommy

I cut the bales from pink Styrofoam, rounded the ends with 200 grit sandpaper, then stuck a toothpick in the bottom to hold it by while I brushed it all over with undiluted white glue, next I sprinkled on basil from the kitchen spice cabinet and let dry. After dry I sprayed the bales with cheap aquanet super hold hair spray to seal any loose pieces. Lastly I finished them off with .09 guitar strings. Back in the day when square bales were first being baled they used wire instead of string like today's bales.

The kit came with the truck and moonshine jugs. Everthing else you see was mostly scrach built.

This is the first boat build for me. It started as a 1/90 scale Lindberg full hull kit. I cut the hull to make it a waterline build. Let me know what you think of this first time boat build. I added several details that didn't come with the kit like lines, cable, stack, tires, cabin lights, cabin glass, door glass, door port holes etc.

Here's one I dedicate to the American farmer. I had a lot of fun building this one. Let me know what you think. Scale is 1/16.
