Thanks Dogfish the problem isn't the red bleeding through, it's more of inconsistent coverage. I've messaged a few people about it and seems as if I wasn't mixing the paint enough is the general consensus, along with not spraying a wet coat just spray light coats to get the coverage I'm looking for.1
Spent the afternoon cleaning out the trim lines of all the built up paint in them.
Decided the paint should have had enough time to dry and went to tape off the trim lines to paint them black, I guess I should have cleared it first. Not sure since I'm still new to spraying craft paints on models.
Aggghhhhh I cannot get this roof painted for BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, looked like it was covering well then I figured I could spray a wet coat and it just goes to BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH. Do pearls need to be sprayed thin until you get to the desired coverage?
Awesome I wish I had at least one photo of my RC McLaren before it got wrecked during a Tamiya TCS race years ago. But it won best of show at 3 other TCS events. Looking forward to seeing this one done.
