  1. Sure! Here's mine ... Now, before any of the 'unwashed masses' jump up and say this isn't a BB chassis, let me state emphatically ... No, it's not. It's a '30 AA chassis ... but, the '30-'31 AA and '32 BB and '33 - '37 chassis were identical. The only real difference was that the '30-'31 AA was fitted with the 4 cylinder engine, while the BB and subsequent years could be had with either the 4 cyl or the flathead V-8. Otherwise, the chassis were the same. There were two wheelbase chassis available: 157" or 131-1/2" like mine. The load ratings were 1-1/2 ton with single rear wheels (like mine is outfitted in these photos) or 2-1/2 ton with dual rear wheels fitted. The frame rails, springs, axles, and all other components were the same ~ the payload difference was based on the single/dual rear wheel configuration. The '28 and early '29 AA trucks were significantly different than the late '29/'30 and '31 AA trucks. The earlier trucks had less substantial frames, springs, and axles (including a worm-drive differential), and wire wheels. Hope this helps.
  2. Hope you enjoyed your day, From one Heavily Weathered Gentleman to another!
  3. Yo? (bumpity)
  4. Possible? Quite. Allowed? Dunno. You'd have to check with your local chapter of IPMS for their ruling.
  5. Or is this just a date he randomly picked to throw off the bill collectors? Either way, Happy Birthday, you cranky old curmudgeon, whether it is today or not! We (Moonlight Modelers) celebrated your birthday last night. Fittingly, you weren't invited.
  6. Or the dude breaking the rules of spelling. Do all your reply have possessions?
  7. Naw, I can't see that. Not enough caffeine yet today! Ooops.
  8. Another option for small, limited, and occasional PE projects is the photo-etching kit that Radio Shack sells (for home-made circuit boards).

Nice. Your build is very credible given all the issues. I'm just wrapping up a build of the Guldstrand Grand Sport 90 ... has similar front end/rear body panel breaks ... and has similar fitment issues! Obviously it must be difficult to get the body parts molds to interact correctly. My Guldstrand required some added plastic, shaved areas, added guide tabs, and filler ... plus lots and lots of fitting and re-fitting. More than I expected for what I thought would be a quick build!
  10. Very nice.
  11. Another thought: alternative colors, like 'Rubber Black' or 'NATO Black', will provide a more accurate looking tire than flat black, which is really too stark to replicate a tire very well.
  12. x2!
  13. Congratulations, Carolyn. And, congratulations, Terry . . . it must have been a great uniform! LOL. When I met the lovely and gracious Mrs. B, I was already in detectives and didn't wear a uniform. I was just overly lucky.
  14. Another contestant in the Indecipherable/Inscrutable Posters & Miscreants Section of the D'OH cult (also known as IPMS-D'OH!). Prize to the first person to successfully insert proper punctuation, capitalization, grammar, and family-compatible content, thus translating the passage into something usable.
  15. Excellent!!
  16. Very nice!! Don't know how I missed it the first time, but I'm glad she came back around.
  17. In post# 16 of this thread, you show a "test spray" that indicates the color is Duplicolor "Firehawk Black Pearl."
  18. I have personally inspected ~ up close ~ that tank and I can testify that Agent G is one of the best sand-baggers I've ever had the pleasure to know!
  19. Deja vu all over again.
