  2. thank you! i have searched her a few times and could not see anything about cleaning a model. i must have just been lucky so far cause im not gonna lie i have not cleaned a model yet..i just try not to handle them very much and havent had any issues with paint yet. but i know my time is coming so washing them will be happening from now on.

  4. that is one amazing model. love the lowrider and amazing paint
  5. hey everyone my name is greg and im from abbotsford bc canada. im new to modeling building i started to do it a few months ago when i had ankle surgery and needed something to keep me busy while recovering. i am not healed but still doing it haha. is there anyone else from bc on here? i find it hard to find aftermarket parts as i want to make one offs and my own spin on things. so far i have built the little red express truck, a kenworth semi and the auto transport trailer. next on the bench is a lowrider impala. so far i love this forum and it took me a few weeks of searching to find a good forum for model building. hope so show a few more of my builds and see a lot of yours.
  6. that is very nice i like it!
  7. ok i guesse i will have to jsut line them all up and mock it up. thank you .
  8. does anyone have any pics of where they mounted the cross members on the upper ramps?? mine does not have any pegs in the bototm of the ramps to go into the holes in the cross member..and jsut want to make sure i get correct location
  9. my firs tone was the neo for iwata. and i actually really love it. i planned on getting a cheaper on to start with then upgrading but so far i havent found any reason to upgrade.
  10. love it!! i really want to build a lowrider but i got to learn how to do the suspension
  11. this is weird i use the tamiya acrylic paint and jsut pour it straight into the gun. as do many people at the hobby store i have talked to. its sprays great for us..
  12. awesome trailers to all your guys. i hope mine turns out looking like that. did all you have to spend hours sanding and removed all the extra plastic on the pieces. the casting just seems very pour from what i have seen from revell.
  13. haha im glad im not the only one hating the fenders. this kit is taking me forever as i simply jsut dont find it fun to build. im trying and its getting there but very slowly.
  14. haha i dont think its gonna be very noticeable where it i. so i think what i will do is get some of that plastic to go straight across the top. and then block the sides to fill in the gaps and glue it all together.then install. i will sand down the top of this to accept the new plastic along the top so it is still the same thickness. just gotta run to the hobby store
  15. for me its mostly tamiya acrylics for spraying. and if i cant get the color then testers enamal or acrylic.with a brush. have yet to mix and play with that to spray yet.
  16. its the revell auto transport trailer ( 85-1509) and at least im not the only one that things they looked very out of place. but they are for sure ment to be there. here are some pics of placement
  17. awesome! you guys are a life saver thank you so much
  18. so i hope im not the only one to ever do this but the other night i cut off a bracket that is sappose to stay attached to my fenders. my question is how can i go about reattaching it. there is about a 1/8th gap now that needs to be filled in so the pieces touch. whats the way to glue this back togethe ror is there a good product that will build up and be strong ?
