Looks great, I can not wait to see the spot welds in the same color as the floors and firewall.

Wow, "if you don't like it, i will gladly stop! just say so. you can go right back to incorrect parts that don't fit or don't belong." You are a great builder and very talented, but we did not just build junk before you enlightened us. Please, please do not say that a part I built is the wrong size. I have access to all the full size parts and can divide by 16. I try very hard to make products which exceed my customers expectations. I built full size top fuel and funny cars for over 20 years and still have access to the shop. If you think something is wrong please email me first to make sure you're correct. I now make a living building these parts and take their quality very serious. Now, I think we should give this thread back to Bart and his exceptional build.

Chip King's "Green Machine" Daytona Pro Mod
MicroNitro replied to David Thibodeau's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
I love it. The motor is really exceptional. The Pro Mods models being built currently are just awesome. I have to admit I do not like watching them run at the races but I do like looking at them and watching them being built here. Like I email back yesterday that is sure is GREEN. Years ago I had a friend with a 32 highboy he would not tell any of us the color it was going to be. Then he pulled into the Frog Follies with it painted that same green as your model. And yes it did not look good on a 32 Ford. -
I really like those, When I saw the picture of them on the car it was one of those "that's it" moments. Thanks for pointing out the tires being to far from the strut. I redid the strut angle, spindle length and hub so they fit closer on the new ones I am making. Chris, Clay and yourself have such a good eye for detail. Thanks

I was wanting to make these for a long time but was not sure if I could without looking blooby. It took a while to figure out how to get all the holes lined up with the steps in all the holes. I am glad Rom had me do them now I will try for rears to mach.- 245 replies

I think that flashpoints altered slicks and front runners would fit perfect. The rears are 7/8" that is 14" in 1/16 scale I would guess that would be very close to fit the 10.5 rim.

Yes you are correct. But I think this will be a real time saver for most of what I do.

I sure can. I would need the rims to work off of.
