Wait, Stop, Hold On, I just noticed some models on a mindless TV show I watch to unwind. Do not read more than that into it. Okay now love peace mellow...mellow... Boo
In the photo it does look a little big. Just let me know what dia. you want to try. I got the dies back over the weekend. I wish I lived closer I would love seeing this build in person.
My wife and I stay in on Mondays and watch Antique Road show, American Pickers and Pawn Stars. Did anybody catch the models behind the first guy on pickers. I think the bottom one was a Hudson Hornet.
If you need to drill into metal with a power drill or mill be careful. You will need a higher grade drill such as these on amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HXMOYK/ref=oh_o03_s00_i00_details They have every size you will need.
The lower control arms could be built using RB motions rod ends and some stainless hypodermic tubing. You could turn the coilovers, half shafts and uprights on the lathe. I think I have seen the M. W. 9" in resin before. Just thoughts on how I would do it.
Flashpoint, Pro Teck, Scale Hardware, Amazon. Amazon has stuff I never thought of aluminum bar and rod, very small stainless rod and tube and tools. I really want to get some stuff from Dirt Modelers.
