  1. I want one! I want one! I want one!
  2. I have had a few a 55, 3 - 56,57, 62, 64,65,66 67, 74, 99 a 72 Ghia. 76 bus and a 72 Westphalia. I am building a 56 rag now and have a 914/6 gt waiting to do next. I have never had a split maybe some day. My son even caught the bug he drives Jetta. Nothing feels as cool as a VW to drive.
  3. These are great. I am for real about paying you some $$ to be able to use a drawing in my logo. P.M me please
  4. I feel your pain. I am going in for more neck surgery soon and am also on the better living through chemicals plan. As I always say to myself hang in there it sure beats the alternative. A funny story (or maybe sad). I can't feel my left arm or leg. I was grinding on a oval window front pan years ago. All of a sudden were I was grinding started getting all wet. I stopped grinding and wiped some of the liquid with my finger. I said to myself "self that looks like blood" and looked down at my ground up left hand. On the way to the doctor My wife said she did not think it was so funny.
  5. I just looked at your 2011 post. I will shut up now you are way better at glass than I am.
  6. Hey Sixx, Mr obsessive did a real good story in one of the older model cars on doing inside mounted glass. He glues little pieces of quarter round styrene on each side of the opening. Then the window piece is held in by it tight. It works great I just did it on a 66 Chevy I am building. I always glue a flange around the opening for the drag race style flush glass. If I remember I will make a glass pattern before I glue the flange in. Remember being the big thing there. I would be interested in hearing more hints as glass is hard to get looking correct.
  7. got mine today, very cool
  8. It is very nice done and again super instructions. The differences I see between it and the stock Hudson is exhaust, wheels and decals. The decals Look real good and the air cleaner decals have the white under them.
  9. It's real look at the hood, driver, exhaust brackets. I can not picture someone doing that much work on a 34 Ford Model
  10. Is there any Pro Mod magazines?
  11. Digital Machinist, MCM, Scale Auto, Automobile Quarterly, Fine woodworking, Wooden Boat, Popular Woodworking, Live Steam, Classic Porsche, Home Power, Ships in Scale, Early American Life, Hot VW, Fret Board Journal, Hart Par Oliver, 9N News I am sure I missed a few.
  12. There are photo etch ones and there is Scale Hardware.
  13. I did not know you were an artist.
  14. Glad you got your money back. Thank goodness you bad with PayPal.
  15. I got the wheels and brakes done. You should get them in a few days.
  16. I have preordered one and was wondering when to be looking for it.
  17. I think they watched to much Magnum PI. Now the as for donuts...
  18. That is a great little lathe I have three and just ordered a fourth yesterday. You may want to get the 4500A as it comes with a chuck and tail chuck that you will need. I would not get any bits or cutting tools from Sherline they sell some real junk bits. A2Z has much better bits. You will need a left and right hand tool and a cut off tool. Good luck I have been machining for almost forty years and still enjoy it.
  19. How about leaving the studs and washers brass they kinda have a gold airadated (not sure how that is spelled ) look. Then using something to make the nuts grey or black.
  20. Thanks I will put an order together in the next few days.
  21. I like
