  1. Useful tools I use the godhand clippers all the time now to finish plastic sprue removal flush. They were expensive but makes part clean up much easier the rest I use for photoetch
  2. Completed Gunze Sangyo Cobra Daytona Coupe. 1965 Le Mans
  3. I fit the I interior into the body and then glued the frame to interior. Knock off pins for the wheels need to be trimmed a bit. kit decals kind of fell apart on me despite pre coating with microscale liquid decal film. Ended up substituting a set of vintage racing miniatures decals and Le Mans decals that I bought a while ago. I glued all photo etch pieces with microscale micro Kristal klear Recommend xuron photo etch scissors to cut the photo etch parts. The cut right at the attachment point and the pieces don’t go flying
  4. Clean parting line tamiya flexible tape worked great
  5. Painted with Vallejo acrylics. Model air French blue over mecha color sky blue. paints mixed in airbrush cup with with a bush using several drops of airbrush flow improver, a little Vallejo thinner and a drop of retarder medium .5mm needle at 25 psi Will remove flexible tamiya masking tape tomorrow and see if any French blue bleed under it

  8. Windshields in. Had to make my own front windshield as couldn’t get the kit one to stay in place without interfering with dashboard. With progressive cuts to fir with dashboard no longer had enough material to secure in place. Replaced with .005 inch clear polystyrene sheet opting against side windows

    Ferrari 330 gts

    Ferrari 330 gts started with a urethane casting copy of what was likely an Airtrax kit sourced on eBay. (See similar casting of a 275 gts starting point obtained from same source. cast bumpers, windshield, side windows and door handles removed. Lots of putty and body work. Front bumpers from an italeri Ferrari 275 gts NART kit. Side marker lights cast in clear resin from same kit. Wheels from italeri unused stash. Exhaust from italeri Ferrari 365 gtb4. Windshield frame made from 2 unused Italeri Ferrari 250 California kits. Windshield hand made. rear bumpers and inner door panels remade from casting of parts from an actual Airtrax Ferrari 330gtc kit. Quarter windows reshaped from extras supplied in Italeri Ferrari 275 gtb door handles from a Volkswagen Beetle kit front headlights from extra parts in amt kit chrome is from revell chrom spray paint on bumpers and headlight and bare metal foil for windshield surround and side moldings

    Color coats added to both Airtrax copies I Made the window framing out of plastic rod for the gtc
