Received the motor last night, It's fantastic! Any of you Mopar guys on the fence about this, don't be, it will be a perfect upgrade to those 1/24 scale B-bodys! I intend on getting the 6-pack and the cross ram when things slow down for you. Keep us in the loop! -

Bought one of the single plane variations yesterday, pretty excited to get it in my hands. If it works as well as I anticipate, I will be in for a cross ram variation as well. Again, thank you for the RB motor! -

At this point there is really no decent (modified) RB motor that I know of in 1/25 or 1/24. I could be wrong, and if so, someone please correct me. The sample you posted, with the M/T covers and headers looks great! and would be a welcomed alternative to current offerings. Of course, I'm only speaking for myself. I do see your dilemma, with so many combinations though. (Mopar Magnum, Indy, Six Pack etc...) -

No worries, I have plenty to work on while you catch up. I'll be holding out for the modified version you posted. This is going to look really nice in a B-body! -

Lowering stance of 80's monogram nascar kits
Mr. Horsepower replied to Mr. Horsepower's topic in WIP: NASCAR
So if I understand you correctly, for the Fords there is no need to shorten the front spindle to drop front ride height? Its been so long since I've attempted one of these kits.... -
I'm sure there was a "how to" posted at some point, but I cant find any information on the basics of lowering the suspension on old Monogram NASCAR kits. I have an idea how to go about it, just curious as what works best. Any help would be appreciated! Chris

Could you share some insight to achieving that stance? Perfect!

Mike, no disrespect, but I would consider Gravity Colors a bit questionable as well due to the recent issues with all the other members. I personally haven't had an issue with Mate, and if he would return my emails I would love to order more paint. I have never did business with Scale Finishes, but similar issues have been noted on this forum as well. I have ordered from Hobby World USA (Zero Paints) and very impressed! However it seems they are always out of what I'm after.... MCW has been in the game for a long time...but no modern colors... Please if there is a company that can be recommend I'm all in! If not I suppose Im waiting for a Zero Paints shipment. For the record, Im not trashing any business, life happens, somethings become less important. I get it. I would just like to find a solution..... -

Never tried it... but now that you mention it, it seems like a viable option.....just thin it out with lacquer thinner? -

Moebius California Flash
Mr. Horsepower replied to Mr. Horsepower's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Just got mine yesterday, I've noticed an alternative set of headers included that aren't on the directions...another variation coming perhaps? The body is perfect and the panel lines are indeed deeper than the stock Belvedere I offering. Now the search for Cragars begins... -
That's good to hear!! In preparation of receiving mine, I've been working the stock belvedere's body and rescribing the lines.... any pics?

I think "Daddyfink" was referring to the irony of a Revell decal in a Moebius box...wpuld have been a bold statement though! -

Dosnt look like it by the picture...there is a Gumout decal on the Slixx "Reher Morrison" sheet that would work. Not sure where you could find a Revell decal -

Thanks guys! The decals look great! I wonder how well the white will cover the orange paint.
