What kit is that? Is it the kit engine?  More ideas. LOL

    Tim

It is the revell 359 peterbiult and aside form the 3 turbos it is the kit engine. I have shortened the frame and added a different back half because I messed up the original rear suspension, added extra fuel tanks, triple turboed it and cut the sleeper of. The reason I have 3 turbos, extra1/2 of a frame and extra fuel tanks is because I have of 3 Thea’s kits, 2 of them I took parts from for other projects and one was in opened.

  2. Here’s what I’ve done.

I’ve shortened the frame, added 3 turbos and modified some other things here and there.

After doing some math the engine I’m running at best gets 4mpg and the fuel tank on the model holds around 100 gallons a pice and lm running 4 tanks+an extra spare tank and the cannonball run is about 3300 miles and after all the math I will have to make one fuel stop.

due to some other more important projects I have going on right now I probably won’t get to much done until later in the year.

Liking it!!!! Until I saw the Vikings logo!!!!!!! Gheesh!!!!!!! Lol just kiddin’!!!!!!

Thanks guys for all the help you have given me some ideas for when I build my desk

by the way DrKerry I’m not a Vikings fan I just have it because it looks cool. The only sport that I watch is hockey (I’m a Canadian) and my favourite team is the Edmonton Oilers

  4. Don’t know if this counts but it is currently the only thing that I have that moves under its own power.

It my high performance racing machine. craftsman  LT2000 with a high performance 724cc Briggs&stratton v-twin making 22HP with open headers with a 6” pulley of the motor and a 4” on the 5 speed transaxle with a welded diff that spins the 20”x10” rear tires, it’s got a custom painted racing stripe, lowered seat for better center of gravity and a homemade throttle on the steering wheel. I just built it this year and it took home 2nd place in the last race I did. It is going to undergoing a total redo due to the fact that half the differential is a pile of metal at the bottom of the transaxle and it was part of a 3 mower pileup in the last race and wrecked the front end and bent the hood.

Yes now that you mentioned it I can see it is a diorama, and I like the plates on your wall also. I have plates hanging on my garage wall.

Thanks. Here’s a better pic of the license plates.

I have a tool box beside my desk. It was on sale at Walmart a couple of years ago with tools.
