That sounds good to me although the Monaco is not doing to good........I knew the HEMI wouldn't be good on gas

The 68-70 dodge charger is my #1 favourite muscle car and I thought it would be cool to see what everyone has biult them like and maybe get some insperation for some future builds
Here are my 3 dodge chargers that I have built over the past couple of years.
The first one has a 440 6pack, 4speed and back tires from the revell 32 ford kit.
the second one is a fast and furious replica with a blown HEMI
and the third one is a rusted out one that I was going to build as a show car but I messed up the paint and biult it as a parts car.

You are doing a great job so far and I will be watching to see how it turns out.
I was looking a this pic from the first movie and by the looks of the oil pan it is a big block Mopar engine (383, 400 or 440) and the block is blue so it's not a 426 HEMI, the early HEMI's had a different oil pan and the ls3 had a different oil pan. The transmission is a 727 3speed auto.
I hope this helps

Thanks David I have looked at your diorama multiple times and it look great.
I got the foam board and I am able to make the diorama bigger so the new dimensions will be 24", wide 15" deep and 10" tall. I will be using some sort of wood for the base and I am unsure what to use the little 6x10 chunk on the corner of the foam board maybe an office or a parts storage up above the shop?? Let me know what you guys think.

Wow looks good.
I have to ask did you use a dodge 440 engine block and trans?

Another idea would be to use the rear fenders from one of the 1953-56 Ford stepside pickups. Just a thought! Dennis
I have a couple of the kits you are talking about but the fenders look to big and bulkey.

I'm getting the same problem I will try taking a screen shot like you said. Dose it have something to do with the size of the photo attached? Because I can upload a photo that is up to 1.3mb not 1.4 or bigger.

Nice start, but as I remember 91 Ford dually is 1:24. That's O-key?
I never realized that they were different scales but I think it will be ok
I had an idea about doing a dually and making my own fenders let me know what you guys think about it as I'm not to shure about it.

This is a project I have had planed for some time and I am going to build it with a garage diorama (ACME auto) as a shop truck.
it is a moebius 1971 ford ranger long box and I will be building a 7.3L powerstroke diesel and auto trans using the 460/7.5L engine from the revell 91 ford dually kit as a base for the engine.
sorry for the bad pics should have better ones tomorrow.
Comment welcome

The kits I would want to see are not neccessarily ones that the rest of the modelling world would purchase!
1968 Fury III convertible. - we had one of these when I was in high school. Was one of the cars I learned to drive in.
1978 Ford Thunderbird. My first car. Have always wanted a kit of this, but the only one i've ever seen is an awful 1/32 Lindberg kit.
Late 70s Ford boat. I love these big old ugly things! Pic is an LTD II, but any late 70s boat would be great. Country Squire, LTD, Caprice, Fury, whatever. It's all good!
Late 70s Dodge trucks. Especially in Power Wagon form!
Modern pickups. we don;t need more late 60s Fords or GMs. Let's see something built in the last five years! New Ram trucks, new GMC/Chev trucks. Anything! Well...anything but Ford. Ha!
Modern SUV. Again, modern vehicles. I'm tired of seeing 60s muscle cars, 50s cars, hot rods, and junky reissues. I want modern vehicles.
And what I think would actually be a sure fire hit, a chassis cab. In this case, 2018 Ram 5500. Imagine how great that would be to have an actuall proper chassis cab we could build on!
A couple of other things:
2013+ Dodge Challenger - something with the current interior, especially in Hellcat or Hellcat Widebody form!
Semi trucks build after 1980. Again, vintage trucks are only slightly interesting, and have been done to death. Let's see some more modern era trucks.
Again, I know these wouldn't be the most popular choices, so I wouldn't realistically expect any of these to go into production, but I can dream.
I agree with almost every thing we need more modern trucks and cars.
the old power wagon would be cool to.
