  1. I'm going to go against the grain and say model. I don't see any carb linkage, and the side mirror would be angled more if it was being driven (how's that for a lousy excuse?). I kinda hope I'm wrong though. I mean, what a hairy ride that would be, even if it does look like Bozo the clown should pop out of it at the end of the 1/4 mile!
  2. I don't know about you, but I'm a complete loser compared to this guy! More information here: http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/Scerri.htm
  3. Too many small details......gotta be real! Those wheels have adjusters for each spoke. The thickness of the louvers is screaming real, as are the latches on the hood. The only thing that bugs me is the lug nuts on the knockoffs. (?) I know it doesn't matter, but the power cords to the lights in the background also look real.
  4. Look, I'm not even asking to win "some".......I just wanna win ONE!
  5. I'm going model on this one. The seat and rear fender don't look right for an XT. The tank is also quite small. Could be a customized racer though, so who knows?
  6. Well, I moved and then life got in the way! You know how it is, right? Plus, I really haven't built anything in quite a while now.
  7. I'm in! I'll go with model this round! (Hi Harry! How ya doin' man?)
  8. For me, the headlight was what swung my vote, though I was almost thrown by the goofy looking front window. It almost looks like flat glass.
  9. Hey, I had that kit. Got it as an incomplete at a garage sale in the '80's. I pro-streeted mine. Your's looks WAY better!
  10. Stu, it could be a spindle mount and pin drive system. If this thing is real that the person or people who created it are very talented and that kind of system would be a cakewalk. Of course, if it's a model, all bets are off! Definately a fishy picture though. Clean tires, the sand has no tracks, though they could have cleaned them up for the pic, or Harry could have cleaned them. Yup, I'm definately, almost positively, sorta, kinda, maybe, possibly, going with, ummmmmmmmm, real.........maybe.
  11. I guessed real, then I scrolled down to see that someone let the cat out of the bag early. Kinda takes the fun away for the rest of us though. Maybe if you "know" the answer, you could say something cryptic without giving it away and ruining the fun for others? Just a thought.........
  12. Real? Definately some goofiness going on here!
  13. Too many things say "Real" on this one. It's the small details....and the glass.
  14. That tranny hump looks funny. I'm going model on this one!
  15. I know I've seen this one before, but for the life of me I don't remember the correct answer, so I'm going with my gut and saying "real"!
  16. How about a peach, or hot peach color with a variation of the AAR stripe, or maybe a stylized version of the bilboard style striping?
  17. Yeah, thats one of those goofy camera lenses that make everything look fake. Fortunately, I figued that might be the case and voted real. Never fear though. I'll get the next 10 in a row wrong probably!
  18. Around 2000 I got and old '68 Camero SS and did a Resto-Mod out of it. The original driveline was long gone, so what the heck, right? A 425hp small block will absolutely decimate street tires, but it was great for smoke shows! Then a couple of years ago I had a chance to pick up a bone stock, full driveline in tact, with protecto-plate to prove it, '70 Chevelle SS 396. To top it off it was a 4-speed, bench seat, radio delete car. An interesting toy to be sure! I had to sell the Camero to get the Chevelle, but it's all good, right? But times are tough. I sold the Chevelle to pay mounting bills and now I drive a '97 Taurus. Maybe someday soon I'll be able to get a REAL car again!
