Glad I'm not wasting money on that kit. I heard somewhere that Frank Gortsema has a more accurate Marmon conversion kit. Has anyone else heard of this?

Well, if you want to build American rigs from the 60's-70's, go with AMT (now AMT-Ertl). If you want to build American rigs from the 80's-present or European rigs, go with Revell of Germany or Italeri. UPDATE: Also, according to Tim, the fenders on the AMT Peterbilt 359 are a bit too short in the front, so if you want more accurate fenders, either kitbash them from a Revell 359 or lengthen them with Evergreen plastic.

Hey, this is a rare truck! I haven't seen anything like this before! Does anyone have a real picture of the vehicle?

For me, my favorite era is the 1970's, because those trucks remind me of trucks from Smokey & the Bandit.

Well, that link you posted is broken, but it is indeed coming out September. Trouble is, I don't have an exact date. Does anyone know the exact date of release for this truck?
