  1. Hey everybody, Here's my Yamaha 250 DT1 that I build from the AMT 70s Era Dirtbikes Kit. I build it to be unrestored but still in use. Thx for looking
  2. Thanks guys It was a fun build I am planning another one with a Chevy small block and a bit more radical
  3. Hey everybody, I am going to add seatbelts later but I'm calling this done for now. Built mostly stock except for a spring over axle lift and a couple more details in the engine bay. Thx for watching.
  4. Almost done. Still waiting for the photoetched seatbelt buckles to arrive in the mail and I need to add the battery.
  5. Great work can't wait to see it finished
  6. While waiting for parts to arrive in the mail to finish up the interior I started another MK1 Rabbit. This time I did a little more body work. No bumbers on this one
  7. While waiting for parts to arrive in the mail to finish up the interior I started another MK1 Rabbit. This time clean and with no bumpers so I did a little extra bodywork
  8. Added BMF and clearcoat. I'm not going to polish it out because I want the paint to look a bit faded and aged
  9. I tried some more techniques and ended up stripping the paint after messing it all up. Here she is in new paint, I'm happy now:)
  10. That is a great looking model of a beautiful car. Your level of detailing is also very impressive. Thanks for sharing your work.
  11. Thanks Here's the body painted and weathered. I'm not sure if I like it, I think I might went a little to crazy with my weathering. What do you guys think?
  12. Thanks The rest of the body is going to be less rusted. Basically rusty but the original paint will still be visible.
  13. Agreed, a re-release of that kit would be awesome. And how cool would be a decal sheet with a couple of these typical 70s stripes!
  14. Thanks guys Those models are very impressive
  15. Hey everybody, I started building this vintage VW Rabbit by AMT. It's going to be unrestored with rusty paint but lowered on nice Zender wheels. Here's what the 1.6 litre 4 cylinder engine looks like so far. I took a pic next to a Ford Cobra 5.8 litre V8 so you guys can see how little the VW engine is
