You guys and gals if any' are rockin the house these builds are def coming along an the best thing about it is everyone bringing sumptin diff. Sorry aint been around much but its hard building and being on the comp.. So every one keep on wit the keepin on!!.. I started building and have to say that weathering is the S#@!. Really can make a build stick out like a sore thumb. I joined the build-off to kinda jump in the water with aging the builds and well this is where Ima at. Im still undecided if I will make the build as a racer who crapped the bed "sorta speak' with a dio or just a racer in the display case. I chose the 72-or-ish mustang obviously because it says MACHO! but it def got that Mad Max look to her so here is MACHO DIABLO! I used a very small solder tip and went to town on the body for the weld beads and a rounded tip for the pockmarks pretty cool tool for this use actually and make body damaged using the body itself and to make all the armor well most. I ll be using the styrene for the windows and other openings and using a different style of hood.. Im digging the openings in the armor you guys are using to be able to see but i figure wouldnt hurt to get some tech in the battle horse.. The chassis almost done.... and the engine next!!!

Hello there friend! Yer question to sanding primarly begins with yer work habits ifn yer calm collective soul and time is of the essence then proceed in levels and take yer time. I use evercoat heavy glaze with a hardener. which dries pretty fast so I like to go slow with the amount applied each time. so that way even a smoother grit like 1000 can easily remove the excess putty or filler used.Ifn this doesnt help let me know ill throw a PM yer way...all in all keep on wit the keepin on!! peace ajulia

Hello all! As my good friend George has mentioned my lady and I got married on the 30th and have been held hostage till a couple days ago. and well this is what happens when you spend to much time away from the bench. Its simple but the kit was missing alot of pieces (as always).. So going into the engine bay was slim next to none. Hopefully have her done tonite or tomorrow. The color is airbrush applied Testors Pontiac Engine metallic blue. Thanks fer stoppin and keep on wit the keepin on! peace ajulia
