the floor plan was flat and starait but the chassie part, the front part that holds the radiator was warped but easy fix. I have been building this same model and tghe first thing I do is check the main parts for that and since I have so many of them I can exchange parts. You are right they are tricky, if you don.t pay attention they bite you in the end Yu have to make sure the frame is right before you start putting all the components. Is funny even the car in the photo in the box looks terrible. chassie going one way and the body another, check it out.

I was so happy Revell made this Corvette. They made the C5 wich is in my closet waiting to be build too, So they have the base to create the c6. This car is just BAD. TOTAL DOMINATION. Detroned Vipers Shorts Winning seasson and It's been on top since. Winning championship after championship. The rest just waits for corvette to have a bad day so they can gwt a piece of the pie. I am a FORD GUY, but must say I Love this car. In my opinion THE BEST CORVETTE EVER. This kit is simple, snap like. but with lots of potential if you can detail it right and give it the right stance. I am going to take advantage that the doors were separated from the body, and will make to open the doors. I will be making two, oNe box Stock and thje other my way. will place a carbon fiber here and there will cut this piece off the door and glue it to body. will glue it now before cutting so fitting is perfect later. cut this section out

I really had fun building this, The shell and engine are from a revell porsche, the quater panels from a 935 tamiya porsche, the wheels from a revell imsa mustang, decals part aftermarket and self made. plus a few scratch parts I managed to make, Very happy I was hable to get it done.

I got this kit a few month back, and your observations on the wheels are good to know, will check that when I start mine. but really that's the only thing I see, cause the boby looks very sharp, love the lines. I still don't know if I should build it street or racing....will be watching this build closelly

I am almos done with this one, at the last minute decided to make it a Folgers because a had two sets of decals wich by the way I promised one to a member here I have not forgoten, just that I have been so busy I haven't got to it, will mail yhem this week. anyway, the first one was paited red like the original car but this one I decided to match the can of coffe color wich is like a black chery flake color. I had a half a can laying around and decided to try. During the rains from Storm Isaac, they send me home early and I went strait to the work bench and started laying decals down. Will finish this one this week and I have two more in the bench to finish
