  1. A FORD/BOBGLIDDEN FAN HERE !!!!!MAY I SAY ..."SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET" THE RIGHT STUFF ALL THE WAY AROUND....I HAVE THE FIREFIGHTER STANG AROUND AND YOU HAVE BOILD MY BLOOD WITH THIS BUILD MAN. GREAT JOB..DO YOU HAVE MORE BUILDS LIKE THIS TO SHOW??
  2. beautifull thing!!! it should be mandatory to build slot funny cars like this, full chassie and engine set up. thankz for sharing man
  3. As for me I love MUSTANGS, Like the concept. when it come to paint, I am not a pro but I have learn the hard way, Start by preping the body before painting. get 600 sand paper and clean all mold lines get a 1000 grid sandpaper and smooth the lines and then wash the body with soppy water and let it dry. if you use putty or some sore of bondo with a different color of the body, prime the body, light gray works for me. let it dry, then wet sand then primer, let it dry good. when primer is dried, if you are pacient and can wait a day so all the fumes are out of it, then paint with color. before you spray the body , spray away, to clear the nossle of the can so the paint does not spit a blobbeb in your car. first coat, light, one coat don't try to cover the hall car with paint, you need to create a layer first so the next coat can stick and not run....wait 30 minutes for the second second coat, a little more coats,,,stop...30 minutes...and the third coat should be the last one. move the car to a close palse with no dust, or wind that could bring dirt particles. let it dry for 2 to 3 days,...work on something else untill then, I have drop dozens of wet painted bodies to the floor because of this. after the 3 day, put the decals if you have to. and if the paint dried dull...pray it with clear gloss and let it dry for a few days were is no dust. this will improve your paint a lot later master the polishing tecnics from the pros, I am not there jet, but is part of growing in the hobby. keep it up and whats up YOU DO not LIKE the mustangs...they are BAD, MEAN AMERICAN MACHINES MAN!!!
  4. i feel you, I did the same thing, I think that when you are older you become more patient and when it come to this hobby, that is key for a good build. I had the FORCE OLDS, but had to sell it in ebay with many more of my stach when money was hard but I kept the MILLER OLDS and I also have the SNAKE'S PEPSI FOREBIRD and KENNY'S BUD TEMPO. This Otter Pops is just for me to get warm. Better start now before you loose interest. Thankz for watching
  5. started to work the engine
  6. DECALS WHENT SMOOTHLY, THAT CRAGAR DECAL JUST GOT CUT SOMEHOW AND DRIED THAT WAY AND I WAS NOT CAREFULL ENOFF AND THE SIDE BROKE IN HALF BUT I FIXED IT WHEN I SAW THE PHOTO. I PROBLABLY PUT ANOTHER ONE ON TOP OF IT. iTS AN EASY PAINT JOB, ONE COLOR AND DECALS. JUST THE REAR WING NEEDS TO BE PAINTED HALF WITH WHITE. i MOD THE CAGE TO MAKE IT SEAT LOWER. AND SHAVED THE FRONT TIRES TO MAKE THE NOSE DROP. THANKS FOR THE COMENT, TAKE THE BOX OUT AND DO IT. THIS WAS A TRADE i DID AND i ATTACKED IT QUICK.
  7. IF HE IS ONLY 11, AND HE DID THIS....HE'S WAY AHEAD OF THE GAME I GETTING INTO INDY CARS RIGHT NOW AND THIS REALLY ME GET READY FOR MY PROJECT.
  8. did the inside of the wheel openings, next primer and ready to paint. the front glass is to long and it does not fit right, a little sanding will make it fit in place. I will probably will paint the stripes instead of decals, the 1;1 car has a gold stripe while the decals show a green. and will like to get a more realistic yellw fade paint on the sides.
  9. Just started this project. Started to mod the body to resemble the real thing. coverd the door lines. Why Revell does it, makes me wonder, funny cars don't have doors. and did the inside of the wheel opening and added the inside lip. this shows the lip and the right stance for a funny car.
  10. the bold lines on this 69 really makes a great pro street or drag car. and you gave it a great paint job, and come on install the shaft the little nova deserves to be completed. hope mine comes out as half as good.
  11. HOW WAS THE NEW PLACE? WAS IT BETTER? I REALLY WANTED TO GO MAN!!! BUT MY CAR BROKE DOWN AND I NEED A RELIABLE CAR TO GO UP THERE FROM WEST PALM BEACH. WILL LIKE TO SEE MORE PICS,AND COMENTS WILL BE APPRECIATED. THANKS VERY MUCH.

  13. Could not drive up to Orlando this weekend because of car problems Will like to see pictures of the show.
  14. you totally suck as a builder and your subject of interest, "boring" Is that the pain you mean?.... Well you won't get it from me. Love drag cars, specially old school. I have a tony nancy rear engine rig in the closet, I need to inspire my self to do it cause I now that chassie must be so wart from the years in the box. I build a Valvoline Top Fuel years back, wich I am proud of. keep building what you love man.... and remember, NO PAIN, NO GAIN, you learn a lot from this guys here.
  15. Th mustang came out great, that chassie sliped in just right. did you had to do a lot of mods to it?
  16. IT HAS CARACTER...I LIKE IT...KEEP IT UP DO MORE INVENTIONS LIKE THIS, LOVE THE SCRATCH BUILD CHASSIE AND EXAUST.
  17. i never paid attention to this kit untill now. WOW...I will get , just for the engine is worth it. Will look great on a slin shot.
  18. love those old school funny cars and love when they are done the old school way, keep shop, shop!!!
  19. One thing I wanted was to include the distintive side trimmings. this kit does not eben have the decla version, was looking for the decals of the moongose 57 funny car, but could no find. but I saw in an article how to make your own trimmings, so I tried it. needs more sanding, later after paint, I will use metal foil to finish it. the engine is going to be a twin turbo so to start I scratch build the intake and later I need to built the intercooler.
  20. got to love PRO STOCKS...very clean job on this and asome work with the paint.
  21. outstanding, you nail the look, keep them coming
  22. mAN!!!!! That'z beautifull, love the interior, and the shell, what a color that thing came out sick.
  23. Using the very popular SOFT SEAL pro sportsman chevy kit. I wanted to do something slicker and lower. So far this is what I got. Now in the engine department I will keep the NOS system but will replace the twin 4 barrel holleys with a pair of BIG TURBOS with a fuel injector system.
