  3. Well, I found a way to install a sway bar for the lower 'A' arms, but if it has the slightest chance of wrecking this,...then maybe not?? Getting a little crazy but I do like the challenge. Estimated 40+hours into this. double posted photo's, one to many "clicks" Thanks for the kind words L

  6. Hey 89 AKurt This kicked the heck out of me, combining all the parts!! Tried to simulate photo's on line. A little bit of a challenge. This is the last of R&D Unique in my parts box (darn), The lead is so soft (good from far) If any one is 3D printing or Resin casting this stuff, let me know!!
  7. Mustang II rack and pinion 95% complete! THAT WAS A CHALLENGE!!! Yikes!! Combination of R&D Unique, RB Motion, Model Car Garage, Future Attraction and scratch build the rack and pinion. Colour,... House of Kolor - Hot Pink Pearl.

  11. Hey Francis I have been following this build! Dude how in the H, E, DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS do you fab this stuff? Drawings? Micro measurements? Reduction wheel from original schematics?,.... no idea? i can see getting one side of,... example engine head but to mirror image it,... i don't get it??!! In styrene I would have a pile of mistakes a foot high. So to machine this, where do you start?? Oh, and thanks for the kind words on my stuff! Let us not compare!! Western Canuck Lorne
  12. Working on the front suspension. All parts have been test fitted. Painting the Mustang II front suspension soon. Needed to assemble it all with tires and rims to get the proper width under the truck. Here is the steering link so far!

  14. Thanks all for the kind words. Every project you complete you learn something new and develop new idea's and skills. This Forum proves that!! The truck was a real head scratcher. Shelved many times! But learned a ton from that project. Now if I could only build like Clay Kemp,.....that's my motivation!! 1st photo taken, kinda thinkin it might come together??? Keep this great hobby going!!!

  18. The stance and the wheels are good to go!! Big Block just fits. Tubbed the stepside box. Colour so far thinking,.... Hot Magenta?? Gotta be a candy colour of some kind??
  19. Rear tires were a labour of love! I cut a Pegasus tire in half then added two rubber washers ( a little larger) then sanded them down and super glued (black rubber cement) them together. The rim is from our good friend "Dancing Bear"!! I contacted him through Face Book and he spun me some rims to match the tire width. Get this,... he spun down the Pegasus rims and made them to fit the "sleeves" very cool !!! Dancing Bear has amazing wheels for purchase - CHECK IT OUT!!

  21. Thank you peteski for the reply!! This is an art and a necessity that 1:1 scale users and the hobby folk need! God-Dog-it!!! Automotive 1:1, Scale Auto, Antique, Memorabilia and the list goes on,.... petski?, .... sounds like a business to get into?? "IF" the dollar could prevail she is a no brainer!! Is there anyone,... OUT THERE??
  22. All my research has shown, 2 well respected "chrome" facilitators are left to assist us in our hobby??!! THANK YOU for hanging in there to make our modelling illusions come to life!! For those of us who haven't been able to simulate the shine we desire ,....again THANK YOU for allowing us to send the part(s) we need to make our project(s) better than our last build! I recently purchased forks, spoons and knives for a simple picnic with my family, YUP!! the chrome (on plastic tableware) was PERFECT!!! What are my thoughts???,.....Man-o-Man, you imagine if they would give us the "formula" to achieve "their perfect chrome"!!!??? we would all take our illusions to the next level !!!! Yes!, persistence will pay off but,.....PLEASE "plastic chrome" companies,.... WHAT IS YOUR SECRET????? Just saying,....?
