  1. Thanks everyone for the interest in the truck. Now if I only had one in the garage,.....
  2. Oh man!! Double take on the photos. Looks real !!! WOW!!!!
  3. Wow!! Very cool truck!! Paint is killer!! Hey you left the keys on the seat,....see ya!!! Gotta love Prostreet!!
  4. Hey Spex84! Thanks for the kind words! What part of western Canada is your hobby bench? Yes! Large photos make a huge difference when trying to display all the detail work. Thanks for showing an interest in the Nanton show also. I shelved this truck several times but after walking away and a few choice words, I didn't let it beat me! Thanks again for your reply, Cheers
  5. Hello, I have been back in the hobby off and on for about 10 years and have seen many a photo's thanks to the internet. I search photo's for ideas and inspiration, both scale and 1:1. Then I came across the 70 1/2 Camaro Pro Mod 1/24. There is a posted photo shoot of this absolutely incredible drag car that blows me away!!!!!!! The references and the planning for this build is by far the best I have ever seen!!! I can't describe it, "it must be seen to believe" ?!! You can look at this masterpiece for hours and find detail "everywhere" !! Parts on a lathe created, jigs for the frame created, metal parts machined, completely wired and plumbed and then the paint,....... The talent behind this jewel is far beyond any build I, again have ever seen!! Too all, please take the time to view the photo's this craftsman has posted. It is inspirational, educational and motivating!!! Now, it is time to start searching on how the heck did he do it!!! AMAZING!! Thank you, whew I am done now!!!
  6. Wow! that looks fast standing still !!! Please tell me where you got the rims and tires?? thanks
  7. That is one great GM!! Now I have to pick up that kit! Very cool !!!!
  8. Hello! Not sure if or how,.... but can we edit or delete photos that we posted? Some say yes some say no? If yes, where do go? Please reply, would like to add/delete a few photos to existing posts Thanks!! KEEP BUILDING
  9. Hey DM sorry no factory parts . The resin body was a labour of love trying to get it straight and paint worthy. I thinned (sanded) the body down "for ever" to open the doors. I tossed the floor bed, interior tub and dash. Was not worth keeping! That's all there was for parts!! Good Luck!
  10. Western Canada, Calgary. Great builders coast to coast
  11. This is AMT's 1964 Chevy Fleetside Short Box kit. Everything went into the parts box except the cab, dash and fleetside box. Scratch built frame, engine bay, interior tub. The colour is 1971 Dodge Dart "Panther Pink" automotive paint. Thanks for checking it out!
  12. Colour is RC 2735 Candy Purple from Pactra. Thanks for the interest!!
  13. Hey all, thanks for the kind words. This is a resin body that was purchased on eBay. The frame was a combo of a pro stock and a pro street kits. The tires are from the Super Bee pro street kit. The stance, colour and wheels gives me the motivation to “getter done”
  14. 1966 Nova Pro Street. Built from the parts box and aftermarket stuff. Mickey Thompson beef under the fenders!
  15. Hello, would like to share my latest project. The body was purchased on eBay. Opened the doors, gutted the engine compartment and threw away the box floor. I'm a detail freak and it MUST look like it could start and run!! Full detail thanks to all the after market "stuff" out there!!!
  16. Great start to this forum - yikes! Anyways, Im from the Great White North. Usually build during the long cold winters. Got back into the model scene after the "family thing". Anything paint, chrome and power! I try to find those "hard to find" subjects. Try to duplicate what I would build in the garage 1:1 scale. The detail stuff out there is awesome!! Thanks, will post in the right spot next time
  17. one wrong click and darn where did it go? Sorry all, wrong spot in forum
