  2. I am wanting to put a stock flat hood ( non SS) on the AMT 68 El Cameno. Anyone know of any place to get one? I have seen outlaw hood but not a flat hood. Resin or plastic ??? Thanks Tim

  4. You are driving along a country road after making what seems like a wrong turn or three. You see a ( insert model car here) peaking out of a barn. What would it be. Any kit built any way. like the 71 GTX with a hemi etc. Let's have some fun. Tim
  5. I have had very good luck using pine-sol or the wally world brand very-pine. I have stripped both Enamels and lacquers with it. even chrome. Tim

  7. A really BIG pair of pliers. Looking at the seats they look kind of fake to me. just something about them doesn't look right. Tim
  8. Being that there is so few shows around here. I will usually show a car at a show once. I may show it for several years but never at the same show. Only exception to that rule is like Lyle said if a car fits a shows theme, if it is requested, or has been several( several several) years since it has been shown. I may take a car that I showed at a show back in the 90s to the 20th annual show next year. Tim
  9. The 20th annual Black hills scale modelers show is in Feb of next year. It is in Rapid City. They have a good time. I will be making it with a model this year.( I got 30 miles from home before I realized I forgot my car, and I wasn't about to go back over icy roads to get it) I forget the dates right at the moment.
