i painted this to match the 04 gto i did rust-oleum metallic silver for the body and rust-oleum flat black primer for the interior and hood

this was pain in the neck to build the instructions were so small and not very clear on placement order of the parts i broke the rear suspension arms and exhuast pipes trying to pop them back apart since i realized the after snaping them together the drivetrain and rear axel setup was supose to be snaped in first then the suspension arms then the exhaust pipes also put then hood on and could not get it to pop off without breaking it so i left it and had to kurbside this kit i painted the body rust-oleum metallic silver and the hood is just flat black primer which is the color i primed the kit in

mine had those also but i had to sand away so much paint 2 different times first time when i first redid the car as it was a rebuilder and the second time more recently that they got lost

i got this amt/ertl street customs nova kit in a trade i did with gloozalot i did a chassis swap the chassis was a first gen camaro from my parts box i had to remove the drive train/transmission tunnel and found a back seat that would fit in my parts box it was from a 70 and a half camaro the center console is from a 70 chevelle the rims and tires came from my parts box the engine bay is a mess due to the only chevy engine i had that would fit the chassis was a first gen camaro engine i also had to put the battery were ever it would fit and there was some other deletions which made the whole bay look bad to me so i did not even take a picture of it if i come across a partial squad rod 79 nova that has a complete chassis engine and engine bay and interior i will do a complete chassis engine and interior swap with the macgyvered interior and chassis set up it currently has i painted the body to as closely match the amt/ertl box art car as i could which was rust-oleum 2x gloss cranberry

here is one of those mpc super charger dodge muscle car kits i recently redid i scratchbuilt the hood and the opera windows since i wanted a se version not the rallye version

this is the kit i am refering to and is a partial repop of the original customizing kit as it has most of the same parts minus the panel wagon roof peice but had the custom front end piece and the option hood scoop
