Tamiya Mica Red TS-39 oh.... this 55 and my 77 monte carlo have made it to the Under Glass finally....

its a revell 77 monte carlo kit.... here's a few better pics...

never really was.... i've had this kit for years... it was cheap at Kmart so i bought it for the heck of it.... was kinda fun to do.... kept it super simple.... strait out of the box... never done that in years either i might end up building this anglia kit i have too anyhow... here's some better pics...

had to respray the hood since i wasn't happy with it.... now, all i gotta do is add these to the hood when its dry and its done.... here's the rest of it....

some mockup shots and some with fishing weights in the trunk for a gasser launch...

thanks man.... he loves it already.... i take him with me to the local meetings here in Hawaii with Gregg.... here's some updates.... motor, chassis, and interior done.... just need to either paint or foil the trim then add the lights and bumpers

ok here's that 80 el camino again.... foil done now that i got a good sheet.... and the interior is done too.... just needs clear....

started something a lil different for me.... (not too much) but defintitely more simple.... gonna keep the hood closed and put a engine plate in the chassis to cover the hole.... (modelhaus ) so, no open hood.... no open trunk.... no open doors.... hopefully and open and close build

once you put the chrome rocker panel pieces on it'll look ok.... you can't get that car much lower with those wheels unless u start cutting up the fenderwells... even then.... you won't have much room under the hood to slamm it on those wheels....

F&F resin used to have that... i dunno if his son still makes it tho....

we can appreciate the work and heart that goes into them but don't mean we gotta like them and have to build something we don't like.... i've seen a FEW nicely built "donks" but most just wanna be loud and get attention.... and as far as your "definition"..... in all the arguements i've heard on this subject..... first time i heard that one.... now i'm gonna go work on a lowrider or rod.... if u don't like it go away just don't expect me to build a lifted car with big wheels

donk is a made-up word.... you are gettin mad over a made-up word that "corporate america" has used to describe any lifted car with big wheels..... donk, box, bubble... whatever u think is the "CORRECT" term... you won't see me building it in that style and thats what the guy was asking me..... i knew what he meant..... keep this bull$#!t out of my topic please
