  1. Thanks Dan! Actually, I glued the engine block to the chassis, so I would have a stable reference to scratchbuild the intake manifold, injector tubes and top "air box" in one unit, and center it precisely in the "shaker scoop" flared opening. The part, once chrome and paint was completed, was located and "adjusted" last. VoilĂ ! CT
  2. Merci Francis! Your writing style has nothing to envy to Molière, you know! CT
  3. Thanks Bill! The hood is NOT the one that came with the car, which had a squarish and smaller air intake opening. This one I found in the parts bin at a recent model show, and I assume it came from a HEMI Challenger. It's a Revell, because it fell right in place. It had four (4) hood pins that I sanded. Other than that... CT

  5. Thanks Mike! But I'm not about to complain about that, am-I? LOL CT
  6. Hi! Verrrrry nice. The color combo is perfect. Bravo! CT
  7. Hi! My neighborhood Michael's, in the Quebec city area, is managed by a friend. He told me kits are notorious "slow movers", and that therefore, they don't carry a wide selection. Last year, they cleared all the Testor's paints (spray and bottles) at rock-bottom prices. Smells like the end... Last october, I got the same feedback from a clerk at the North-Conway new-Hampshire Michael's store. RIP? CT
  8. Hi! Thank you. That 225$ is a good price, if the kit is as "mint" as the box suggest. Paid mine 150$ Canadian. Was a good deal! CT
