I made up a set of magnum wheels from the 68 charger kit for comparison purposes. for my taste I think they look better with this particular color. I also have the engine coming along pics of it later. thank you all for your input.

I started the body decals this morning. they all seemed to lay down nice. I haven't decided on the wheels yet, for my taste the styled steel wheels are a bit circus wagoned. I might use magnum 500 wheels instead.

had a nice day so I went ahead and started by painting the body. it was done using testors gold and dark red enamels. it's going to have white stripes and interior. c&c are welcome as usual and thanks for looking. btw I've noticed some great builds of this kit on here!

thank you Jeremy! they are called kits but you have to cut every piece from a box of wood using 1 to 1 drawings. the scratch building takes them to another level. the one pictured with the rigging took 3 years to build.
