I had to test fit the cab to figure out where to locate the right side filler neck on the fuel tank. I also took the time to locate the cab filler plate and the exhaust elbows. ( the instructions are wrong showing the location of the fill necks.) -

the tank straps were filed off along with the chrome. they were then steel wooled and painted with krylon silver foil spray paint in a rattle can. thanks for your interest Steve. -

engine and radiator installed along with the upper and lower hoses. started work on the battery box. -

got some paint put on the chassis. it's rust oleum so it will take several days to dry. I personally like the shade of red. need to start stripping the 5th wheel assembly and fuel tanks. -

I had to file the inside of both rear axle housings to get enough play for the middle axle wheels to sit properly. with that done I assembled the rest of the chassis that will all get painted the same color. -
