  1. I started this one about a month ago, some of you may have noticed it on my website. Its a reissue of Revell's Heavy Hugger F/C. Overall the kit is very well detailed but the body lacks accuracy. The roof just isn't accuracte... Looks like the A pillars were laid back or something. Anyway I took the roof from an AMT 70 Camaro and with a little cutting and puttying the body is done. For some reason the engine is a Ford as well, I'll replace that later. I plan on doing minor detailing, nothing wild. Whos F/C it will be is still to be decided.

Sure beat paying $30 for a resin body! I'll try to keep it updated...

  2. Hi man and welcome!

To post pics you'll need a photo hosting website. I would recommend Photobucket. Its easy to set up and plus its free.

-Upload your pics there or where ever you host your pics.

-Right click on the image, go to properties, copy the url.

-Click the "Img" button in the posting area here.

-Paste the url in between the tags like this .

If you use photobucket you can just copy the third set of tags under the thumbnail image. It may be tricky at first but becomes second nature.

  3. I decided to fool around with this one today a little. I gave it more of an extreme rake by extending the triple trees, a little more works needs to be done at the top of the frame where the trees connect. I am building my own tank out of brass... I really want something different so I have no idea what its going to look like.

I know at this point I want to chrome the rear fender... possibly the frame too but I don't want to over do it.

  4. Well heres the near completed fuel/oil tank. Thanks to info from a friend of mine who works on real pro mods, I was able to kill two birds with one stone. I was told on newer pro mods they just make one huge tank and split inside.

Its pretty much done all I need is a cap setup for the oil, just like the fuel one. I really loaded up on the solder inside the tank to avoid any leaks
