  3. Fresh from the bench...a 37 Chevy pro mod. I've had this one for a long time. The body was very rough, had to sand the snot out of it!! From 320 grit to 1500, just to get it ready for primer!! I don't remember who casted it...I got on eBay. The paint is HOK tangelo, white and a custom mix of purple. I cut winglets for the rear wing...gives it a finished look. Hogged out a spot for the parachute and slapped on some Slixx decals...comments welcomed
  4. Yes sir I do use a 2 part clear. I use all kinds of polish, like scratch X , novus, even used tamiya's 3 part polish. Lots of time though, the clear comes out spotless, so I don't do it then, I'll just wax the snot out of it!!
  5. Thanks Ray!!! I had been in a slump/funk, whatever, for awhile, gettin ticked off coz I'm not doing so well with my zombie figures...the arm molds suck!! So, thumbing through the magazines ( M.C. & S.A. ) got me going again!! Thank God!! Coz I was hating models for a bit!!

  18. Thanks for the replies, I'm looking for decent 1/25th & 1/24th scales, prefer the "mints" , Danbury, Franklin. Things like the 37 Stude pickup, 41 Chevy pickup, odd-ball stuff. Scratched, missing some parts, dented etc...cheap. Hopefully with tires??!!
