About Me
I'm an inveterate car nut, son of a car nut who was also an Air Force enlisted man (and is a Vietnam vet), so I moved around a lot until we settled in Oklahoma in the early '70s. Then in 1981 I met a Kentucky woman, and moved to Kentucky in late '82. We have one child, now a grown woman, who is also a car nut.
I got out of scale modeling a couple of decades ago when the pressures of being a non-traditional college student diverted me to other pursuits. Not long ago I started digging out un-built models I had in storage. I'm still trying to find my paints (not that they would be any good now) and three missing kits.
I currently work as a technical writer for Link-Belt Cranes (LBX) and because of the Covid 19 pandemic, I've been working from home.
