Very nice gift to receive. If it was mine, I would make a mold for the very back end that includes the tailgate. Cast it, repair a casting, then cut the tail gate out and attach the casting. That way the letters stay on the gate and have depth.

Gerald, I would use period correct PPP tires and wheels. I think they look and scale to the car just a bit nicer.

That is what the video showed they did, well they used gray duct tape. Then took a marker, I would say, and wrote a 04 on the tape.

Gerald, for the hood displacement use the 4 and the C.I. from the decal sheet. On the "04" paint a clear decal light gray and hand paint a 04 on to that. Just my thoughts.

The color is blue. At the end of 87 the interior of one was his red/orange color. I suppose they were getting ready for the 88 season.
