  4. Drivetrain is painted, assembled, wired, and plumbed up. On to the chassis next!
  5. Thanks for the interest and advice guys. Ive gotten the engine and transmission mostly assembled, just need to add some wiring and lines. Then its off to paint
  6. Decided on doing another Diamond Reo. For some reason these and their Autocar cousins are my favorites. This one will probably end up mostly box stock. Plans include opening cab doors and atleast one of the sleeper doors. Debating on either blue and white two tone or box art green.

  12. Got it pretty much finished up, need to fix a few things and add some door decals. The mirrors are also from keystone. I wish the bed fit better,( it did but i had to pull it back apart to fix a wiring issue) the trucks in real life where pretty hammered so ill just roll with it lol. I added the fire extinguisher from the parts box to the interior.i covered up my rats nest wiring job and electronics with rocks and dirt glued on a foam block.
  13. I added photo etched handles to the door panels, (what a pain)
  14. I swapped the hood and grill for one from keystone, (definitely the best resin stuff ive worked with and fast shipping). I hinged the hood as well. I also added expanded metal to the back glass
  15. Motor mounted up, got the cab and fenders painted and assembled. Got the wiring ran.
  16. Drilled out the front bumper for the headlights and drilled put the tail-lights. Got the bumper painted up, added aluminum pipe to the back.
  17. Assembled the interior tub. I had to widen the tub to match the cab
  18. Detailed dash. I cut out and glued on all the gauges from a decal sheet off ebay. Next time i want to drill out the gauges and glue them from the back side
  19. Had to cut the tub too since the doors where opened
  20. Decided to try something new and more difficult. I cut open the doors and hinge them
  21. Starting to test fit the body
  22. I made the battery box lid removable using tiny magnets inside the batteries and ithin piece of metal on the bottom of the lid
