  1. Here in Europe there are no aerodynamic skirts, there are either bins that truck drivers usually use to hold tools or bars that we call anti-intrusion bulkheads (I post two photos but, I think you already know them), they give look too heavy for trailers ... I have seen that even if less widespread companies like the mesilla valley have mounted some on their trucks ... with all this need to reduce consumption there is ...
  2. Hi guys, I open this topic because I have a 53 "moebius trailer and I noticed a few things ... 1Most modern American trailers often have a small recess at the docking end (photo circled in red) The moebius does not have it but on modern great dane I always see it, what do you say? 2The moebius model does not have aerodynamic side skirts, if I built it I would like to add them 3 It would be nice to add aerodynamic tail to one of these models Is it widespread in the USA? Here in Europe you never see ... However, the topic is open to collect more information on this type of trailers, impossible to see in Europe but, in my opinion, more beautiful than our ... internal, external details, different types of manufacturers and different generations ...
  3. Thanks for the welcome, I will stay tuned to this topic, to see this complete truck?
  4. Don't worry, stay tuned !!
  5. Yes, the beautiful city of Turin, thanks again for the warm welcome and compliments?
  6. Wow, I am new in the forum but, I dare say that I have liked Autocar since Over the top. Very nice painting
  7. Here is a photo of the truck that would make me ... I would be very grateful to someone who sent them the photo of a short-chassis prostar like the moebius, because there are no on the internet.
  8. However, two questions: 1The length of the chasis, in all the photos I have seen, of various vintages, even 2011 no trucks have such a short chassis. 2 The tank for the DEF, we here in Europe call it adblue and pay it 70 cents per liter, to protect the earth from the emissions of our beasts, however with such a short chassis it is not easy to find a point where to place the special tank .
  9. Ah, understood, excuse me but on the other side of the ocean it is a bit complicated to get this information, however the prostar is one of my favorite trucks, and parents and relatives have already told me that I am crazy to have in mind to change the truck engine ... So I think I will opt for a legacy prostar model, thanks this information is really useful (I'd like to build an argosy freightliner but, a & n is an out of catalog and I don't think it was cheap)
  10. In addition, I have seen that several of you have also spoken about the international lt which is also in the video. It is a very beautiful truck and thanks again for the video, however, I have been on the international site and I have seen that both the international lt and the prostar model that is still called that are on sale, it is the latter that I would imagine to make, so as not to upset the basic model desgn too much
  11. Tank you, I rally like wolkaround videos ?
  12. Thank you all for the welcome and appreciation?
  13. It is precisely because mine is packed with Moebius that I consider it rarer, here in Europe there are above all the Italeri kits that have started to bother me ...?
  14. You read me in thought, in fact I bought the a & isx15 engine from a&n I confirm that looking at the pieces and reading the instructions is written isx15 (it is slightly different from the engine in the photo in the official brochure but, it is as close as possible to the truth they managed to find), surely it is better than the maxx force 15 of the kit Feedback https://translate.google.it › ...
  15. a heartfelt thanks to everyone for your answers, I really appreciate it
  16. Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and in the presentation I said thatI built some trucks that I'd like to show you Here they are... (soon I will add more photos, my collection does not end here)
  17. Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and I'm an Italian model maker. A few months ago I found the international prostar moebius models road tractor at a fair and a few months later (with a bit of effort) I also found the moebius smooth side great dane trailer to match, I'm not sure I will build this model, here in Italy it is really rare but, in case I wanted to do it, I would like to update it to the present day (the model in the box is a prostar from 2011) I have already bought a cummins isx15 engine to replace the old maxx force of the kit but the changes to be made would be many more ... any advice is welcome, especially if coming from the USA (unfortunately I have never seen a prostar from life)
  18. Hi everyone, I'm aerodyne03, I'm Italian and I'm a big fan of cars and trucks (especially those made in the USA) and I've been dealing with modeling for 12 years, my first model was a military truck by italeri, today I have a collection decent of civil models including several trucks and cars in 1/24 and 1/25 scale, I subscribe to this forum to be able to get criticism, advice from you and if you will also like some compliments for my work. In the figure below there is one of my latest works (almost finished ...)
