  1. I hope to be able to find a solution or like yours or to glue what is there properly because you would not think but, the body loses a lot of solidity with a broken pillar (I also built a 66 chevy, good times .. .??)
  2. Yes, the spoiler is often used as an alternative to the skirts, there are also in this case of various types, it would not be difficult to make even those?
  3. Nice idea, I love the t600 and using a 1/32 model is a good idea rather than a beast in 1/24, don't stop, I follow your WIP with a lot of interest !!??
  4. In reality, making it dry would also be a possibility because on the moebius model it seems to me that the tank is too external to make small holes as in the photo, or, at worst, it could be refrigerated without a tank, it is not that in my house there are other american truck experts but me ... (maybe I'm a little presumptuous?)
  5. This too would be a possibility, spectacular model anyway, perhaps the most beautiful prostar I have ever seen built, even more than the golden one!??
  6. I think about it, the sooner I have another one to finish ... You continue to make considerations ... I will take your opinions and your desire to see it on the banch very much ...?
  7. Actually I'm a builder, in fact sometimes I give them but some I keep them aside because I particularly care about them or for special occasions ... The fact is that I really like this car and if it wasn't that I went crazy to go to see its price ... it would already be under glass??
  8. Hi guys, I open this topic because a month ago I bought a volvo 850 btcc tamiya, I looked for it on the internet and on ebay the uncut box reaches 130 euros, I paid 30 from a trusted shop ... Question. Do I build it or do I keep it that way? what suits me? If you advise me to build it you will soon see it in my WIP of this forum ...
  9. I open this topic to ask anyone of you living in the United States to post detailed or global photos of the current 53 "trailers that are currently used, by any Great Dane, Utility manufacturer ... (I know that I can also find them on the internet but I want to build my own exclusive photo album) If you can also photos of the interior, also related to the difference in thickness between the walls of the refrigerated and dry, I thank you in advance for your participation?
  10. Yes, you can see a lot of aerodynamic skirts and of different types you only have to choose the most esthetically beautiful ones, among other things, doing a refeer I could have a bit of trouble positioning them due to the diesel tank of the cooler...
  11. Ok, thank you very much, I wanted to combine a fuller italeri eaton gearbox with an a & n isx15 cummins engine the result should be this (photo taken by another forun, not mine ...?)
  12. I open this topic for a simple question, here in Europe almost all trucks have a synchronized ZF gearbox, on the Italian forums I often read that the Americans are much more fond of el fuller (I also know that if you learn to use it, it is better than zf). So I was wondering the gear box found on Italeri cummins engines, as an aesthetic, would it be good to be mounted on more modern trucks as well? (Italeri trucks with that engine are now a bit dated ...?)
  13. Wow, great looking truck! "California hauler style!"?
  14. Sorry if I rename the film but, why doesn't someone do it in Over the top style? I know that in reality the truck in the film is a different model but, this comes very close ... here in Italy it is difficult to find, the the only time I saw it was where I bought the prostar and I couldn't buy two ... I renew my congratulations again for the beautiful truck that Pete68 is building?
  15. Thank you so much, I don't doubt that you will be able to advise me in the best way?
  16. Ah ok, thanks Here in Italy I think it would be difficult to find but it is another one of those models that you buy when you are tired of seeing Italeri written all over the place ... Feedback https://translate.google.it › ...
  17. Hi guys, I open this topic because next week I will open a new topic in the on the work bench section where I will finish building a subaru impreza started years ago for my father (the car is at the beginning of construction, most of the pieces are still in the box). But, let's get to the point, I stopped construction because two years ago the thieves entered the house, threw it on the ground and the right front pillar of the bodywork broke, I have already tried to glue it and putty it a bit but it is too thin a piece to repair it like this, so I hope the primer filler and three good coats of blue subaru tamiya paint will help, however modellusmo is not synonymous with perfection and that's okay ... What do you think about it? Any advice is welcome, really everyone and of course I invite you all to follow the topic that I will open to keep you updated on the worck in progress!?
  18. Among other things, but, that flat bed moebius which is also talked about on this forum came out then?
  19. Thanks for the welcome, I don't know, maybe you have already seen them but, revell / monogram make nice big rig kits in 1/32 scale, they are a little less detailed but, more manageable, I have a few years ago I built a kenworth k100 aerodyne in that stairs and it was not bad (then my mother made him fall from the desk) I'll post a photo or two ... (in my opinion if you want to pay a tribute to your father they are excellent ...)
  20. Thanks again for participating, for now this is among my topics Yes, to think about it, it is easy that a rear-end collision can damage them, it is necessary to attend the doors and, among other things, they increase the length of the cemion, I only tell you that here in Europe the standard length limit of a tractor-trailer is 16 meters is you only with your trailers do you already pass them add us 3-axle tractors like yours (we are mainly two-axle cabovers) and the aerodynamic tail ... work in a transport company like yours but, I would be afraid to do backing up to docks ...
  21. Thank you so much!!?
  22. Thank you for having responded in such a participatory way, thank goodness that I like the opinion of the refrigerated great dane, so for me the floor has no problems ... (nice the new termoking chiller in the photo) On the great dane website there are nice descriptions and videos but the question of the thickness of the floors and walls because of the insulation there is no better way than to see a live trailer or ask the experts that you have to deal with every day.? New, I looked at the instructions for the moebius and there are two usable pins for hooking, one bigger and the other smaller. Anyone know what difference there is?
  23. One more question, a bit off topic, the American cargo trailer model of italeri that I happened to assemble which model is it in reality? Maybe an old Willson?
  24. Wow, great car, the model is made very well and then the Huayra is my second favorite hipercar (the first is the Zonda) ...?
