I grew up in Michigan and had a lot of references on rusted cars

I was going to add some holes in the floor but ran out of time. I finished it last Friday night before heading over to the show.

What started as a White 70 Monte Carlo SS project and when the paint was messed up and stripped I couldn’t get the body fully clean to repaint it so the restoration project began. Added a vinyl top, opened the trunk and doors, the passenger door was beyond repair so added a new one and yet to install the interior door panel. Well worn seats and dirty seatbelts along with a headliner that has seen better days. The engine could use a good cleaning also.

Sorry didn't meet the deadline I've been out with a knee injury not allowing me to sit at the bench. I am finally able to sit for a while. I have CSX 2127 engine done so far and the suspension is next. I managed to get the throttle linkage stuffed in between the carbs but you cant see much of it now with the carbs installed.

Sorry I've been out sick; my club posted the flyer on another thread here. I copied it and if you haven't seen it yet here it is.

I can have someone post a flyer for the show, but our Facebook page is RIFF-RAFF scale auto model car club if that helps.

What started out as a kit bought for just the engine, turned out to be a pretty good kit. I bought this Monogram 2004 Corvette Z06 to use the engine for another kit I was doing but then decided to build it. I cut the drivers door and trunk open also opened the headlights.

I used some 1/48 aircraft engine decals from Airscale, I found they look almost like the original weber ones. -
