First builds in 1960, on-off over the years (Army-Ret). Restarted in late 1990's, then serious in 2015. Only build cars, vans, & p/u's but admire other models. I build 1/24 and 1/25 but have a two 1/20 Ford Van kits I want to build to my 1:1 Irish Rover.  During military I managed to race stock cars in Germany, little bit of drag racing in the states, and a Vanner (Desert Kara Vans & Sun City Vans) in Tx and Germany.  When I got back into the hobby, a lot had changed; prices, kit details, paints, glues, so I had a lot to learn. While I paint from cans, I'm using an airbrush, too ( like the price of acrylics). Found the Scale Auto Forum and this one, and some online videos which have shown me sooooo much. So thanks to all of you for inspiring and challenging me to do more than just assemble my kits. Got 38 in the case and about 45 on the shelves, so it's not a big collection but they give me something to enjoy. Looking forward to sharing photos with folks who enjoy doing this.
