  1. Love the colour scheme, really nice build
  2. Excellent restoration, great work.
  3. Very nice! Love the engine detail
  4. This is my first attempt at a shiny/clean build and finished model number 2. Not a kit I would choose but I got it in a joblot and decided to practice on it. Quite a few errors including molde lines on front wings, fogged headlight, finger print on rear wing ... but lots of lessons learnt. Overall I'm quite happy how it turned out
  5. Great! Thanks for the advice guys, I'll let you know how the repair goes.
  6. I've been attempting my first "shiny" build, the paint went on really well but when it came to the clear coat I got a run Stupidly I dabbed it with a tissue and its ripped off some of the paint underneath Is this repairable? or is it bath time for the body?
  7. Very nice!
  8. I've googled a 69 Mustang and I reckon that's the one, which is strange because I accidentally put a mustang rear bumper from another kit on it. Thanks Mike
  9. If anybody knows what body I used for the post apocalyptic car, it was just a shell I got in a joblot of bits.
  10. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome Is the body a Mustang TransAmMike? The shell came from a joblot off Ebay I had to scratch build the front and rear ends. The body has a symbol on the rear roof post which looks like a cobra with some writing underneath it. I would be interested to know what car it originally came from.
  11. Hi all I'm very new to the building scene. As with a lot of people during lockdown I was searching for something to take my mind off things, so I ordered a model kit off amazon (68 dodge charger) went and bought some super glue and thought I was good to go. How wrong I was..... so I started looking on YouTube on how to build scale models and my mind was blown, Detailing, kit bashing, customising, rat rods, garage dioramas... all appealed to me. I've finished one model car (hopefully I can provide the link below) and now have numerous projects going on and I'm absolutely hooked! Hope to find more inspiration and a group of like minded people here on this forum. This should be a link to my YouTube channel https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCayldKuoq4N3oD176FcWSEQ which shows my progress so far. Kind regards Phil
