  1. Year Rob, I love that van too. Great rivet job. Rivets. Bring on the rivets !!!
  2. Someone on this thread was creating some zombies. Did they get finished? Are they being cast in resin? Can I get some?
  3. Wow Rob !! I love your Waste Buggy !!
  4. Very interesting Foxer !!! I never watch zombie shows either. They are very stupid shows; like watching old 1950's double B movies.
  5. Did someone say STEAM ??? Humm
  6. OH YES !! Great looking vehicle Crank. Love it.
  7. Crank Man: The comment on your paint job may or may not be valid. Remember the number one rule of dioramas. First determine the story. The story is the most important thing. Everything in the diorama must follow and support the story. If the owner of your van painted the complete van and all of the devices with some paint that he found, then the whole vehicle would be the same color. If for instance the van owner installed the gun after the van was painted, then the gun would be a different color. Well, you get the idea………. By the way I love this piece ! Some great ideas; the crow’s nest is perfect !!
  8. Hollywood Jim is in for the fun. But can't start my build until I build a workshop. Here's my entry. It's called "Head Shot".
  9. I brought some too. I'll bet the guy who sells them is wondering what's happening. Someone needs to tell him the end of the world is coming and the Zombies are coming. The world desperately needs off-road tires... LOL
  10. Your builds look great Rob !!
  11. Cranky: The crows nest looks great. Much better lower where you have it now. (PS your .aol email account has been hyjacked. I just got a message from you that took me to an advertisment.) I think the Zombies are after you...........................
  12. Thank you my friend. But I'm still in Utah for a couple of weeks. (Then I need to build my workshop in Phoenix.)
  13. Yeah. Things are going great here on this thread ! I hope it's still going strong in a few months from now; when I finally get time to start my build.
  14. Hey ! Hippie Agent G RodneyBad I love what you guys are doing. Great ideas and gerat scratch building !!!
  15. Virgil: Your car looks great !!! Only problem is that the name "Gremlin" sounds too cutsie... LOL
  16. Yeah, the wheels and tires are available on Ebay at Trevor's Toy Box. Make sure you view the whole store. I almost purchased the blazer. The one that has loose parts. It's dirt cheap. It might make a good Zombie Hunter..........
  17. Thanks mikey ! I just purchased some So Real Concept tires and wheels. The price was reasonable.
  18. Well I have my idea firmly in my head. Now I simply have to suffer and wait for a few months while I build my new workshop and unpack all of my model building stuff. I guess I have until just before the end of the world to complete it....................
  19. scalenut I like your idea. Yeah, I like it a lot !!!!!!!!!
  20. Some ideas are starting to pop into my head. ( And Cranky you know how dangerous that can be. ) Is there any plan to have an actual caravan at a model car event? December 2012 and January 2013 are months that have very few model car events. Or are you planning on having a photo caravan? The reason I ask is that my idea would need to be modified if we did only a photographic caravan as opposed to a live in person caravan........
  21. Hey guys !! Here is a link to a bunch of ideas....... http://public.fotki.com/shrimpee/car-shows-and-such-1/misc_model_car_stuff/world-war-3/
  22. Perfect.!!!! (Why didn't I think of it)
  23. Way cool..!!!!!!!
