  1. SEND IN THE CLOWNS I received the clowns in the mail today. They look great ! And they will match up nicely with other 1/25 and 1/24 scale figures. . . . .
  2. There is some incredible stuff on this thread. I thought I was an OK scratchbuilder. But this thread humbles me and I'm sure now that I'm just a beginner.
  3. Now that's funny. a guy in Finland (maybe half way around the world) has no problem. Hey maybe the MCM forum server is in Finland !
  4. Thanks. It is brushed on flat black with a tiny bit of silver dry brushed on top. When you brush on the flat black, you dab it on. This gives it texture and gives it that old metal look. I did the same thing when I brush painted this boiler:
  5. I have the same problem.
  6. Thanks so much Wayne !!!
  7. Here is a steam engine I designed and built.
  8. Hey Wayne, great work !! What exactly is Renshape? Where can I get some? Thanks
  9. Great piece and video.............
  10. Great work Joker !!
  11. Yeah, trailers are good to have around to spice up any model car. And they are pretty easy to build...........
  12. Why not scratch build a trailer. Or maybe build one of those utility trailers made out of a pickup bed.
  13. I got a little sidetracked today. I decided if I have clowns, then I need a unicycle ! So I built one. I used the chain drive from an old 1/24th scale motorcycle. And I used the wheels from this motorcycle. I hated to tear up this very nice old motorcycle, but oh well. Here is the finished unicycle. Here Ralph is trying to figure out what he is looking at. What is tarnation is this thing? I don't think he will be able to figure it out. Then bob tries to explain to Ralph that it's a one wheel bicycle for clowns. Ralph says "Yeah, ya gotta be a real clown to ride one of those".
  14. MTF is MTF Discount Warehouses. They are based in BC, Canada. They have 5 Stores in the Lower Mainland and 3 more in the Okanagan area. But I don't know what MTF stands for. Maybe Mike, Tom and Frank ??
  15. Girl friend huh? Well, I see your problem. Honey do lists are only for married couples. Tell her that ASAP.
  16. Yes I did build one, but as I remember it was more frustrating than fun.... LOL
  17. I want to make a clown car like the ones used in a circus. Where like 20 clowns are stuffed into the car and they keep coming out, as though it's impossible that they could have all been in the car. So I decided to use this kit instead: Here is my work so far. I want an altered wheel base so it can easily do wheelies. I think I like these wheels, below, better.
  18. Yes Mr. Teresi is a great builder. I always enjoy seeing his work. A couple of years ago someone made this steampunk artwork poster using an image of my steampunk car. I was never asked for permission. It was done by someone overseas (not in the USA). And they were for sale for a about one dollar. It did not bother me. And if anything I was a little insulted by the low price... LOL
  19. Great work !! I don't think I could work in such a small scale.
  20. I'd be interested in seeing the Twinkie Calendar, to see what it says........
  21. Oh man !! That outlet box looks gerat !!
  22. Welcome !! Nothing wrong with females picking colors. They are usually better at that than us males........ LOL
  23. Thank you for the compliment !! OK I get it. Decals would be great. Yeah, I wish I could airbrush nice looking artwork. About all I can do is stick people.
