Yes, your correct. I can now afford the small cost of having some parts printed up in 3D. I have friends that can do it. And I understand Staples is ready to prodive 3D printing. The big problem is doing the CAD drafting required. I'm not sure I want to learn how to do that. . . -
Thank you !! Ding ding ding !! Your correct. A water bag. Does anyone still use water bags ? I don't get out much anymore............ . . .

Thanks guys !!! OK, it is time to finish the smaller top shelf. I don’t want to over-fill this space or put anything too big on this shelf. I want to make sure this shelf does not pull the viewer’s eye away from the main subject that will be on the floor. Is anyone old enough to know what that item is on the far left???? Top shelf finished ! Here is a photo with no camera flash. Here is a photo with camera flash on. . . . .

Great diorama !! I don't know where I found photos of this diorama, but I have been using them for the last couple of months for ideas for my diorama..................... . .

And only those viewers who really look carefully will find the cool stuff like swim fins. . . .

Working on the top shelf, rear wall. I think a typical family garage would have Christmas decorations. These photos start out with the initial layout and then the final painting and glue down. Sometimes this process drives me crazy because there are so many different ways to arrange things. Finished shelf. . . .

Nice work. That's a neat idea; don't put too much stuff in it. Just let him fill it up with his own stuff.

Thank you Brad. Yes, I know the place. I love that place. They have several model car kits I would like to buy. That is were I purchased a bunch of stuff for my diorama. I have been in there at least one day a week for the last two months buying doll house stuff. They did not have low voltage light bulbs. I ended up using LED's run with batteries. Thank you for your help !!! . .

I don't want to see anyone hurt. I just want them to throw a few punches on each other. Because that's what the fans want to do to them for this season's delay. . . .

I wanna see some blood on the ice ! . . . .

I still have to add junk to the top shelf on the back wall, the top shelf over the work bench, the top of the work bench and the shelves in the work bench. This does not even count the stuff I'll be adding to the floor. I was thinking maybe I'm over doing the junk. In diorama building the open space between all of the junk is just as important as the junk. Some thought needs to go into how the open space is layed out. So I decided to create some open space in front of the work bench and reduce the clutter a little bit. I made some doors for the work bench. And I added some visual interest by opening one of the doors just a tiny bit..................... . . . .

Wow !! That looks perfect !

Filling up the shelves. Here are some photos at different exposures. . . . .

Thank you Vaughn. Yes, there is definitely an end to this diorama. I hope to be finished with it in about 30 days. . . .

Filling up the rear shelf. First I put everything on the shelf to see how it might fit. As I painted and glued down the items, their location on the shelf changes. This is because, as I work, I think more about where stuff would logically be put. . . . .

Cranky: The mop has to be up against the wall, it's designed that way. LOL And that is how I would store it. Especially on a wood floor. Good eye my friend, the handle was too large (thick). So I replaced it with a scale correct handle. And I increased the puddle for Dan. Thank you for your input guys !!!!! . . . .

Yeah, good idea. Say, how do you know so much about drainage?

Here is an interesting building session. I wanted to make a mop in a bucket. That sounds simple. Get a bucket add some bunched up string at the bottom and put a stick in it. Well, I started playing around with the stick and string and I came up with a decent looking mop. I could not waste this nice mop by sticking it in a bucket. So i decided to have it leaning up against a wall. I soaked it in white glue and water. I made a jig to hold it in place while the glue dried. The glue is dried. Now I have a leaning mop. Now where did I put that bucket........................... . . . .

Made some rags. Kleenex and thinned out white glue. I usually make a bunch of them because only a few turn out to look like real rags when they are finished. Added some more junk to the lower shelf. Added some items to the floor. . . . .

Time to add some details. Here I have added a gasoline sign behind the drill press and a hanging rope on the shelf. Some rolls of tape, hanging pipe wrench and a calendar. A high school banner. A tool box for bench on the back wall. I have to be careful with car stuff. There were very few if any manufacturer stickers, decals, etc. in 1957. A little more junk on the bench. . . .
