Thanks guys, not shore about the wheels because they sat in the kit box for about 5 years before i really worked on it. The wood grain on the wheel and dash insert are real wood the console was hand painted.

I just finished this one to night. I was trying for a simple clean build with a few extra details most of which are in the interior, steering wheel and dash insert are scratch built as well as the console, shifter, steering column and mount. Any and all comments welcome.

i love your rat rod very cool indeed, and all those interesting details like the colorful seats and the rats tail very creative.

Your Merc looks awsome and i like the valve covers to, i will be following your build.

This is my second model posted i didn't even know there was a slot car section cool. I got this one from a friend in trade for putting together several slot cars for him it was a mess when i got it both rear wheel wells were cut, missing front lower valence panel and headlights, most of the exhaust pipes were broken, missing windshield no driver no roll bar, the body had several cracks no tires or rims but it did have a complete running chassis. I have many more cars to post if anyone wants to see them. All comments welcome.

This is an awsome build and the finish is so smooth looks like glass, can't wait for the next build.

Thanks everybody for the very warm welcome and thanks for the compliments on the GTO as i said it was not a good kit but i still had fun building it. You are a very friendly bunch so i think i will stick around, i have plenty of stuff to post.

Thanks but no build off for me yet just want to get use to this site and post a few more models. Yes you are correct Rickey i made the fan shroud from a small bin you would store parts in i cut it up and reshaped it around a small teastors paint lid, this is not a great kit the chassis fit was not good and the decals were very bad they all broke into several parts even with setting solution.

Thanks for the welcome and your help i will try it on the next post. I did the paintscene just like the box cover, i did add plug wires throttle linkage and return spring and i scratch built the window net and a few other details.
