Well here is the start with the wheel wells openings This is the way I am building it. Here's the rims from Drag City Casting that I am using.

I picked these two up yesterday These have some super detail for being 1:64 I might go back and pick up the RR and the nova today

He's not real happy with the heat in texas and having to wear his fire suit But he is real pumped about being in comand of one of these babys

And this gives this day more meaning to Me and my wife

WHAT I GOT TODAY Let me give you a little back ground to this story. I was checking out craigs list and I found this listing for models so I write him and asked him if he still had them so he asked me my name and come to find out it is a old friend from thirty years ago that I hung out with. Well we met at this Gas station and we got a cup of coffee and hashed old times, 2hrs we sat under that tree and it was like I was twenty again and time just melted away, So now we are going to keep in touch and get the families together and he says he has a bunch of parts boxies and old paint that he wants to give me....What a great day !!!!!

Well we made it home from Texas and it is way tooo Hot for me, we got to take him off base to a ball game the last night what a great Fathers day present. "Airman First class Belair" And yes this is what we got to cruz Texas in "permanent Grin" and my son almost fell over backwards when he saw it.

I know what you mean , their must be something about those bubbletops I had to strip mine three times too, and it changed colors from black to orange to grey to red at the end.

Well got the interior done today after I went to michaels and picked up some Martha stewarts flocking and did a mix of dark green and black and did a wood shift knob Here is the flocking and I picked up the rust kit too,

My Gaage sale finds $5 a piece and I have wanted this pickup for a long time and the 64 for my Lowrider series ;D

This is my buddies 36 Ford he just finished putting the electric windows in it along with a stereo and had to come down an tease me, now he has to get back to work on the 69 Nova he has on the turn table.I asked back awhile ago how I could come up with a 36 so I could do do it for him.

Well here are the results of the fight with Miss Misery last night...I think I won that round.

Is their such a thing as a model car exorcist ? I think the torino needs one. Yesterday I decanted some of the paint so tonight I could shoot another coat on it, so take a wild guess what happened .... when I opened the bottle it foamed all over, Ok we clean this mess up we get the gun loaded, start shooting and the BOTTLE FALLS OFF !!!! So we clean this mess up, and try to finish the coat then the gun starts sputtering and so I just fought though and got this coat done. I know this sucker is evel and I am going to beat the evel out of it if it don't knock it off ...I SWEAR I WILL DO IT !!!!!!

Now that motor is going to rock in that.

Jeff, All I can say is that I hope that my Torino cobra comes out half as nice as this.

I was getting real nervous that they were going to cancel this but am I glad they didn't.

I know you wont believe it but "Miss Misery" took a coat of paint. I know I can't believe it myself but it's true. ;D
