  1. Won't happen but I'd love to see the proper front and back bumpers to make an LX 5.0. Of course you'd have to cut off the side sills but oh well. For that matter include the parts for a GT instead. Eh, I'm sure a Fox body would look fine on 24 inch rims
  2. I want to meet everyone here and on Randy's board. I would love to hang out with Monoped, Pat Redmond, Mal, Hadley, Andy (only if I had bond money with me ) and all the other on Brian's chat. One guys work I admire and haven't seen listed yet is Clay Kemp. His builds inspire me greatly.
  3. I'm 34 and share a birthday with one of my favorite guitarists, Noodles from the Offspring.
  4. Skylines rock but there's something about that Integra that I really like. Must be the understated look of it, kinda like a sleeper.
  5. Howdy Illini neighbor!
  6. Hey Gregg and Jarius, got a question for you. I was in Hobby Lobby tonight and saw they have a couple racks set up in the front for crafting magazines. How come they don't sell your mag and other model magazines? I wouldn't think it would hurt to have magazines showing people how to build the kits and give them ideas for other projects. Although with the contest issue and a half off sale maybe Hobby Lobby is afraid they may not have anything left to sell lol.
  7. Hey dude, try painting the body with silver and then paint your color over that. The silver should cut out all the bleeding.
  8. I primed the Matt Kenseth kit with platikote and crazed crazed crazed.
  9. I've been up to the mall a few times, and the Silicon Raceway, and Pro Motorsports and the other diecast place,(the name escapes me,) are must hits. The girlfriend got a list of stores and well, I'm in trouble lol. I do want to hit the Plane simulator place too. I'll check those shops out. Thanks!
  10. How about one of off the old AMT Indy cars? Maybe someone could cast one out of resin?
  11. Hey dude, the Revell Integra's/Civics are a blast to build. The AMT Eclipse isn't as much.
  12. You going to put the IRS out of the Cobra in it too?
  13. Hey guys, going to the Mall of America next month and I was wondering if there is any cool hobby shops up there or on the way.
  14. Nice pics man. I really like the crew cab Ford!
  15. Best way I've been able to lower stuff is to cut the tab off of the spindle and go higher on the spindle, or make a new one out of brass tubing or such. For the back end, leaf springs under the axle are easiest, just do as Billy said and make a lowering block. For spring over, make a cheapy spring under kit by putting the springs under the axle. Usually you'll have to make new springs out of styrene strip or brass strip. It isn't to bad. I've lowered a few mini trucks in real life, so if you have any questions few free to PM me.
  16. We used to have a track in Morris, with a high speed road course, (redundancy in action ) and a more skillful road course. They raced 1/32 and 1/24th and honestly if you haven't raced the 1/24th you are really missing some fun. The track moved over time and closed about 3 or so years ago. I was in Reno Nevada last year and the one mall out there has a track and yea you don't ever lose the fever. I had bought and hour and when some kids came in I let them try my car. Of course they loved racing
  17. You he will when I'm invited And Pat, I think I saw that picture at the police station
  18. Hey guys Mal just sent me the link here and I like what I'm seeing! I post mainly over at Randy's under the screen name Mike5. No not a Kyle Busch fan lol. If the forum is anything like the magazine I'm sure I'll have a blast here
