  1. Fiero, Fieri, let's call the whole thing off.
  2. Winner, not according to Guy Fieri
  3. Fuel, what do you mean Spock that we are out fuel, how are we going to get home in time for dinner?
  4. Memes sometime have more problems creating actual sentences then this game does.
  5. Had a neighbor back in the day had a 66 Chevelle this same color. It was a hardtop and had a dark blue interior.Always thought it was a sharp looking car.πŸ˜ƒ Good progress so far. Think you need to bring the nose down a bit. Reminds me of when someone did an engine swap and pulled out a V8 and replaced it with a six.😣
  6. NHL started in 1917 with four Canadian teams.
  7. Mistaken model parts for dead lady bugs tells me my vision isn't what it used to be.
  8. With the way people think these days it's always someone else's fault.
  9. Brain Damage is a song from Pink Floyd which right now might have someone scrambling to find a video to post here but as it's an instrumental it might come up lacking in words.
  10. Made a bit more progress on the wagon. Needed to get some color on the engine. Went old school with the gold as it's Testors from probably 50 years ago. Still works. Some of the other colors are believe it or not are Ammo Jet Engine Colors. Right now I'm waiting on some pulleys for the front of the engine to arrive from Iceman so I can finish up the nose job on this. Chassis has been keeping me busy as well. Did some cleanup on the rails and gave them a shot of black. Also sprayed body color on the pan to see how it looks. I like the contrast. Trying to figure out the front end stance has been a lot of trial and error. But I think we are almost there. Just need to get some wheels for this baby.
  11. Been making some minor progress on the Mercury. At present adapting the chassis from the AMT 60 Ford Starliner kit. The wheelbase is spot on and the chassis fits quite nicely in place. Had to shave a bit off the rear edges of the chassis so it would slip into the Merc body. I also added some alignment pins at the rear that will fit into the screw posts on the body. I was in a painting mood this past weekend and wanted to get some color on something so I could get an idea of how the paint would look. Which by the way is Scale Finishes 1963 Ford Tuscon Yellow. Sprayed the underbody with some red oxide primer and then dusted the edges with the body color. Finally added some body schutz to blacken the wheel wells in the form of Behr textured flat black spray. Probably put it on a little too neatly as it wasn't this clean at the factory. But then again this is the higher end Mercury😁 And then we have the frame sprayed gloss black and resting in place. The top-side of the bottom-side is also the bottom of the interior. Just going with a simple black interior to set off the yellow paint. So the floor has been dusted with some black flocking. The original interior of the Merc has really faint impressions of door handles. Those are going to be shaved off and replaced with a set or resin handles. I also started on the engine which too is from the Starliner kit. But that has a 4-speed toploader which I will swap out. Not technically correct as it didn't come out until 1966 I am waiting for a C-6 to arrive from VCG resin. Last entry for tonight is a sample of the paint. I couldn't resist shooting the hood to get a real feel for the color. Now the whole rest of the body needs the same treatment. Hopefully soon.πŸ˜€
  12. Jim, I'm going to leave that one alone. Don't want to ruin Greg's thread.😲
  13. Right around now Jim is just itching to throw some '41 Plymouth fenders on it.
  14. Time and time again time show up but when, it's here and then it's gone but will be back before too long.
  15. Me, myself and I, read that sentence and started to cry, not because of how vain that appeared to be, but because I drank too much tonight and had to go pee.
  16. Looking good Greg. I wonder about that radius on the rear fenders if that is something that has gotten worse over the years. The AMT 40 Ford kit has issues with the front fenders and it's not such an issue with the early releases. Psss, I won't tell anyone you put a Ford seat in a Chevy.
  17. Lost items always seem to turn up in the last place you look.😁
