mark, i have seen a few manhattans customs. they have a different look stock with the high roof. but the customs have that roof flattened out and that lowered seems to make it look longer also. ya manhattan bodies are a lot harder to obtain. thanx guys

built my created 39 ford standard custom coupe. used the interior from the amt 40 ford coupe kit to build this one. i used a testers 38 smoothster chassie i moved rear forward on it to fit tires into the wells. used the smoothsters motor, but needed to move it forward some. found a gas tank section in my parts drawer that fit great. still needed driveshaft when underside pic was taken. thanx for looking built 9/12/25

built my created 39 ford standard sedan. used the amt 39 40 ford sedan kit to build this one. had to cut to fit the front of amt sedans interior tube to fit with the fire wall i used when creating the standard sedan. was going to try and use testers 38 smoothster chassie i moved rear forward on to fit wells. but decided to use 39 40 because easier all around(except for alter front of tub and bottom of firewall. decided to put a wider rear tire and wheel from parts drawers) cut in each side of frame, then used each piece on opposite side and cut off extra now on outside. thanx for looking built 9/10/25

39 plymouth 3 window coupe 3d body i was given, thank you richard. i kitbashed with a amt wagon rod. worked really well, had a few tweeks here and there. used whole chassie but changed out tires and wheels and engine, used interior which i left open into the trunk area. thanx for lookin, built 9/8/25

my 41 buick sedan delivery was a bash of my resin 41 buick coupe and my resin 41 chevy sedan delivery. i seen a 46-8 chevy at grand nat show 3 or so years back. they took a car body and a sedan deli body and made panel fit the car body. mad for a more proportioned door on the panel. i had the buick and thought i try a buick instead, looks even more elegant i was thinking. the whole under body is a 41 ford woody i made up when i worked on the other 2 buicks. built 8/29/25 thanx for lookin, glen

48 ford convertible that has been shortened in quarter and had rear deck closed up to make it a single bench seat, with chopped conv roof. everything under the body is a parts car thunderbolt, framed shortened to fit wheels in wells. built 8/18/ 25 was a in and out of the box project.

this is a kit bash of my chopped version of my 41 chevy coupe with a 37 ford bed i believe. the entire chassis and engine is from the 39 wagon rod. interior tub was 50 chevy with a hump in floor and 59 chevy dash. 50 chevy was the back of the new cab also. i carried the side profile of the coupe through the rear widened fenders to the narrower 37 ford bed. i wanted to use the wagon rod with its wider rear tires also. i wanted a closed cab pickup like a pic of a orange real one i had saved. built 7/8/25 thanx

built my 57 buick panel wagon, used a 55 chevy nomad as donor kit. made interior tub and chassis 1/2 longer. when i went to finish up and put the chassis under the body, SURPRISE! ended up being alot of cutting on top of chassis plate to get the back down for an even stance. (top of tunnel and top of shock floor) it looked like some of our cars in the 70s with the rear ready to shooting off for space. i ended up putting heavy duty springs on front to bring my 73 comino up even with the (stock air shocks raised for my 60s) rear, i liked the just enough raise for tires and front up to even out. oh ya 57 buick, i decided slight wider tire all around black walls on this one. enjoy built 5/15/25 thanx glen damodelguy
