  1. Great job, Jerry. Hope you got over the burn out. Win
  2. has not set their status

  3. Well Dingo...it came out just like I expected. Really nice. Like the curtains. See ya, Win
  4. My way of thinking is, if you don't like it, don't look at it and if you do look at it keep your negative thoughts to yourself. This isn't a forum to bash builders but to encourage them. Also, I would like to say, in the future if anyone has a beef with someone take it offline and keep it out of this forum. Good build, Dingo. It's like I told you in a PM, I think the guy was a truck driver and this is the way he wanted to go out. Win
  5. That's awesome. It's coincidental that a '58 Mack I drove had the same type of emergency brake setup only smaller and the handle was shorter. Win
  6. Yep, your models have always turned out good in the end and I'm sure this one will too. Hang in there. There's a little town in Montana named Forsyth. A sign coming into town reads "Welcome To Forsyth. Population 1944 Friendly People And A Few Grouches". Ya know what I mean, Vern? Win
  7. Really looks good Tim and another big ol' feather in your cap. Tip of the glue cap to you. I couldn't quite make out the name of the decal paper you used. Was it the film that wouldn't lay flat and is this a decal paper to stay away from? The reason I ask is that I make most of my own decals? Win
  8. Lookin' good Dingo...hang in there. Win
  9. Really nice and great job. I don't have the patience or imagination for detail like that. Win
  10. Really a nice build. I like the trim and good job adapting the bed. It looks ever bit as good as an Aussie as it would in a U.S. build. I'm guessing that a tipper in Australia would be a dump truck in the U.S. Win
  11. Bingo, Dingo...lookin' good. Did you ever finish the Mack with the condo sleeper? Win
  12. Model Express http://modelexpress.net/ has the trailer...$39.98 USD They also have the RVG KW W-900 #7497 (red) for $49.98 USD. Canadian company but they ship to U.S. from Colville, Washington. I've dealt with them and they have alwasys treated me right. Go into their site then in upper r.h. corner click on American/International or Canadian whichever you want then it will bring up a page with model listings on the left. Scroll down to trucks, trailers etc. then click into whatever you want. Rots A Ruk Win
  13. BINGO! That's one sharp lookin' build. Win
  14. Looks good and nothing wrong with "out of the box". Most of my builds are from box with a little mod here and there at times. Hate doing engine detail then when the engine's dropped in the detailing can't be seen which is what happened with the Ford Aeromax I built. Oh well... Win
  15. Nice lookin' "Weenie Wagon". Hang in with it. Win
  16. Lookin' good, Tim and fantastic work, as usual. Win
  17. Thanks for the attaboys. I do appreciate them and my wife does too 'cause as I said...she's my color picker outer. Win
  18. Holy cow...shazam...dang....pow...man, those are some eye popper builds. Win
  19. Lookin' good Dingo. Hang in there. Win
  20. Absolutley an AWSOME BUILD. I'm sure there has been a lot of time, planning, talent, blood, sweat and tears put into it but will be well worth it all when it's finished. Win
  21. Finally got 'r done. Sure could have used a wide angle lens on this one but, oh well. Both kits are original. The tractor is Revell and trailer is AMT. My thanks and a tip of the glue tube to Jeff Rae (Corn Patch) who told me "it needs a tank trailer and I have one" so that's how I ended up with the trailer. My wife, as usual, picked the color combo and stripe color. I'll build 'em but my sense of color sucks. So now, on to my next project. Thanks for looking... see ya. Win
  22. Hi Ray, Now that's coincidental...I was wondering the other day if you had finished this build. The trailer is a touch high but not enough to make a lot of difference. I would think that it would be lot of work to lower it but, maybe not. Take care and watch out for the loony toon drivers. Win
  23. Good job but have a question. What's the wire or cable going from the cab back to the trailer? Does it release the hopper doors? If it does thats some inovation. Win
  24. I have only bought resin from Dave at AITM and his products are clean with very little clean up and great detail. Also, Dave has "faster than a speeding bullet" service. Win
  25. Great work. The Lone Star is one mean looking truck...ready for anything that's thrown at it. Of course I'm an IHC fan anyway. Win
