Being in the Marines and being in Kandahar in 04-05 and actually seeing the Royal Air Force in action this brings back some memories. You did a great job on this one. I remember they would get on the runway and race taking off. I also remember them taking off, dropping their load and landing just as fast. Never saw them do a vertical take off or landing because the runway couldnt take it.

There is really nothing wrong with this kit. I like the fact it doesn't come with the metal axels like most of the other 50s era fords do. If you don't want it I will take it

Ok, if I keep going this will be 97% done. But I am tired and my body hurts from sitting on the ground. Anyway, I have to wait on the bed to get to where I can paint it again then I can button this one up as my first build of 2010. I know the grille isnt finished yet. Thats how she sits now so until the bed is stripped, thats as far as I go. I also need to do some touch ups.

Thanks guys, I am going to x nay the wired distributor, since I don't know where my pen vise is.

All righty now Got the hood painted, and the cab cleared. Got the chrome stripped and those painted flat black. Engine is 99% done just got to find my penvise, not sure where it is. The bed got way too much paint on it and it started running, so it is in the pond. On to the pictures!! I know not to blame the camera but I am going to anyway. The batteries were dying.

Well guys, here's an update, not much of one, but still an update. Got the headlight lenses in and the tail light lenses painted and installed. Used white glue because it doesn't create a haze on the lenses

I know of at least one builder that will do this. It's either he works fast or he finish and then posted. And that man is Virgil. There are a few of his that he finishes on the first page. As far as finding your topics, use the search feature at the bottom of the forum you selected (on the workbench or under glass) and search by topics I started, that's what I do to find my old builds to update them.

That still looks amazing. I wish I had one of these jada mustang kits.
